Plastic wastes thrown in large bodies of water is bad for the environment.

1.Read the thesis statement.

2.Based on the topic being discussed in the thesis statement, strengthen the thesis statement
and provide it with some preliminary research.

- Plastic wastes dumped into massive bodies of water are environmentally harmful;
however, by recycling ordinary plastic trash, we not only safeguard the
environment but also generate economic money.

Plastic that enters the large bodies of water can be carried thousands of miles by currents to
any part of the world. It penetrates ecosystems and causes enormous devastation to marine
species along the way. Plastic remains in the environment for a long time, endangering marine
life and spreading pollutants. Thus, recycling comes to the picture. Recycling is the procedure of
converting waste or used products into new items. An item that has served its purpose will be
discarded, and recycling is an effort to extend the period that an item will be used, thereby
providing several benefits to both humans and the environment.

Should homework be banned on weekends?

Thesis Statement
- Students must not have homework on weekends since it often overlaps with other
responsibilities, eliminating homework allows students the reward of relaxing time and
the invaluable time spent with family. Therefore, let the weekends be homework-free.

Introductory paragraph

Weekends are intended to be recharge days for students and everyone else. Weekends are
disrupted by homework. Once students are assigned homework on weekends, they feel as if
they have no break. When students have to worry about homework on days when they are
supposed to relax, they become stressed. To avoid this, students must not end up receiving
assigned tasks on the weekends. Teachers can prevent this by planning their lessons each
week so that the content does not spill over into the weekend. While this may obviously mean
more homework time for every weekday, students will have less to worry during the weekend.
