Australia is a country located in the southern hemisphere, occupying the entire

continental part of Oceania, surrounded by the Indian, Antarctic and Pacific oceans,
and separated from Asia by the Arafura and Timor Seas. It is the sixth largest
country in the world with an area of 7,741,220 km².1 Its capital, Canberra, is located
in the Australian Capital Territory. The country's population is more than 25
million, concentrated mainly in the large coastal cities. Australia is divided into six
states, two mainland territories and other smaller territories.
It is famous worldwide
for its natural wonders
and wide-open spaces,
its beaches, its deserts.
Australia is currently one of the most urbanized countries in the world,
it is also known for the cosmopolitan attractions of its major cities such
as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
Currently, Australia belongs to the "Commonwealth" or British
Community of Nations, a free association of 53 independent sovereign
states that were part of the British crown. It is for this reason that,
although Australia is an independent nation, Queen Elizabeth II of
Great Britain is also formally the Queen of Australia. The currency is
the Australian dollar, the official language is Australian English and
although there is no state religion 52.1% are Christian.
Among the most important celebrations are: Australia's National Day
on January 26th, the Perth Festival in February, where artists from all
countries arrive, and the Melbourne Film Festival in June, where
there is an exhibition of the best current national and international
films. It is a distant country, but this relative isolation
also makes Australia a very special place. More than 80%
of the fauna is unique to this country: from koalas to
kangaroos, sharks, snakes and spiders, Australia is home
to almost a million different native species.

The United States of America, commonly known as the United
States (U.S. or USA), is a country primarily located in North America.
It consists of 50 states and a federal district Washington D.C., its capital. With
approximately 309 million inhabitants, it is the third most populous country in the
world. United States is a constitutional, presidential, federal republic. Its
government has limited powers enumerated in the U.S. Constitution.
Dollar $ (USD) has been the official currency of the country since 1792. The
United States is officially a secular state: it guarantees the free exercise of religion
and prohibits the establishment of any religious government. English is the official
language.
The United States is the TYPICAL AMERICAN DISHES

amusement park, and to this day, amusement parks are an integral part of the
American culture of childhood and adolescence. The favorite sport is called
American soccer. Jazz, Gospel, Blues, Swing, Rock and Roll, Country,
Classical, Electronic, New Age, Hip-hop, Pop, Rap are music styles that are
developed in the country and have great popularity beyond its borders.
The United States is home to many cultures and a wide variety of ethnic groups,
traditions, and values. Americans have traditionally been characterized by a
strong work ethic, competitiveness, and individualism, as well as a unifying
belief in an "American creed" emphasizing liberty, equality, private property,
democracy, rule of law, and a preference for limited government. The Statue
of Liberty is an iconic symbol of the American Dream as well as its ideals.
Some of the most common holidays and celebrations for American families are
Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, Martin Luther King Day,
Presidents’ Day and Easter.
