Critical Analysis of Mission Impossible (Fallout) Series

 Mission Impossible Fallout

Central Idea:

Mission Impossible fallout is one of the great movie series of Mission Impossible. Tom
Cruise the hero of all movies is the main character of this movie who fights with crime and
protect the earth from big operations by terrorists. This is the second movie in following the
2015 movie Rogue nation. Two years after the arrest of Solomon Lane a great terrorist make
his allies plan another attack on the world War. On the opposite Ethan Hunt the MI6 agent
tries to buy the explosive three balls of Plutonium Cores but unable to buy because of attack
by a group. Ethan in exchange of Plutonium Cores deals to snatch Lane from the hands of
police while transferring. Ethan was tricked by his teammate Walker who was working with
Solomon Lane. MI6 identified the other two plutonium cores at a medical camp near Siachen
Glacier. Planting the bombs and after setting the Plutonium Cores at timer Walker set to go
away on a helicopter. Ethan start chasing the walker and MI6 other 2 agents Benji Dunn and
Luther started to find the Cores and making a way to dispose it. Solomon Lane was killed
during the fight by Benji Dunn and Illsa Faust. Ethan killed walker after a suspenseful fight
in helicopter and able to turn off the bomb at the right and perfect time to save the world from

Narrative Structure:

The movie has a great synergy and story build from the start. Mission Impossible fallout is
the 6th movie series of the successful movie series Mission Impossible. The three main act
structure of the movie Mission Impossible fallout has a great effect on the observer of the
movie.

The first main act structure of the Movie is main start up of the movie where Ethan Hunt was
sent on the mission to Buy the three Plutonium Cores from terrorist before it falls in the false
hands. Ethan Hunt with its force tries to make the deal but Allies of the previous movie
Rogue Nation Solomon Lane stole the Plutonium. The act structure made the story build up
because a great world War could be started from these Cores if it is placed anywhere it would
create lots of destruction.

The second main structure of the movie has the story build and curiosity for the watcher so
that he watches till the end. The structure was when Allies of Solomon Lane makes the deal
with MI force that if Ethan able to snatch Lane from the hands of a police and military force

the Plutonium Cores will be given to MI force as a deal. This was a great plot from the
direction because the last part of the movie was all about catching Lane and now, they have
to make him free from the hands of police and legislation. [ CITATION Fin15 \l 2057 ]

The third structure is the ending of the movie where the satisfaction was given to the move’s
watcher. The plot was when Ethan chased Walker on a helicopter and his other force was
trying to defuse the Cores planted by Lane and walker. The remote was in the hands of
Walker who was running away and timing was tickling on the Cores. But in the hand after
lots of struggle Ethan was able to defeat him and Luther and Benji Dunn able to cut the wires
at same time which was a great plot and breath taking scene of the movie.

The main Protagonist of the movie Mission Impossible fallout is Tom Cruise playing the
Character of Ethan Hunt from many years in the Movie series.

Technical Media representations:

The movies Mission Impossible Fallout has a great entertainment for the movie lovers from 2
years as their story write up. The communication between the agents looks very real and the
most important part of the design and script are the characters in the movie. All the movie
characters are very pro and unique for the movies and are coming up with every movie a
great movie of the series. The camera choice in the Movie is also very great the 4k results of
the movie with great colourful enhancements made it more visual. The editing software used
in some scenes like when Ethan chased Walker from the streets and building by hiking off the
roofs was quite impressive editing. The massive editing was used in the Helicopter scene
where they fight on the mountain for the Remote control. The VFX effects of that looked
very real and it was very difficult to tell it is unreal [ CITATION Fin15 \l 2057 ]. The movie series
Mission Impossible has a great cutting patterns of making the movie smooth and don’t
cutting the scene mostly. The smooth and continuous scenes makes it even more successful in
technical elements display.

Camera & Sound Effects:

The sound quality was excellent in every motion and thrilling sounds used during some stunts
also made this movie interesting. The theme song of Mission Impossible also make the movie
more exciting. Moreover the dialogues and sudden decisions of the team and force makes the
movie tremendous. The DTS soundtrack and Sound proofing of the movie was also very
impressive because the implementation of right soundtrack to enthusiasts the film watcher

was great. The movie has a great picture in picture as well as its denotative and connotative
meanings are very different for the people and for the movies makers. The movie Mission
Impossible signifies the viewers as the most impossible mission force that performs the task
and save the earth from terrorist and master plans which is the denotative meaning of the
movie for viewers to attract them. But the movie signifies a great stunts and performing a
movie series with same actors and characters every year for almost more than 20 years which
is not an easy task to perform and this is the connotative meaning of the movie displayed by

Review of the Movie:

Overall the movie was quite impressive in all aspects. The movie theme and story plot was
also engaging with the observers. All these scenes were completely brilliantly performed by
the group and directed by the team. The dialogue and information built from previous movie
was also quite good. Mission Impossible always states the picture of movie that the task is
impossible and it was again presented very related to the mission. Ethan in the movie has a
great role and is very important character which is being performed by Tom Cruise from
start. Saving the earth from war is the primary mission of the Impossible mission force. This
time because of their mistake they were able to hand over the Plutonium Cores to the
terrorists which cause them a great trouble. The team managed to dispose the Bombs in the
end but the adaptation of story was excellent. The theme and layout of the shooting set was
again perfect and real and Filmed at different sites in the world. The end scene was Filmed at
Siachen Glacier connecting the borders of India, China and Pakistan. Thus, all the editing and
stunts performed in the states of America and Other countries All were worthy for liking the
movie and setting the film watcher another craze for the next movie in coming years.
