    Mrs. Mitali Barai, a 45-year-old female, had a biopsy of her left level V lymph node. The microscopic examination showed atypical lymphoid cells forming nodules in the lymph node. Immunohistochemistry testing found the cells were positive for CD20, CD10, and Bcl2, consistent with follicular lymphoma, a low-grade form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

    Left level V lymph node:Received a single lymph node measuring 0.8x0.6x0.4cm,submitted entirely

    Microscopic Description:

    Left level V lymph node biopsy:


    Biopsy shows fat and scanty nodules of atypical lymphoid cells.
    On immunohistochemistry, the atypical lymphoid cells in nodules are positive for CD20, CD10 and Bcl2.
    CD3 highlights background reactive T lymphoid cells.
    MIB-1 labelling index is 10-25% in highest proliferating areas.
