A Narrative Report on Industry Practicum at Microtrade GCM Company

On February 11, 2019, We are having an orientation about what will

be the tasks, rules and policies that we will be going to do. On the 2 nd day
February 12, 2019, we are doing computer networking, set-upping wifi and
updating, and understanding basic computer hardware. 3rd day February
13, 2019 we are doing asssemble and disassemble basic computer
hardwares and peripherals. On 4 th day February 16, 2019, we are doing
Installation of Operating System(OS(Windows 7, & Windows 10)) on
Computer. 5th day February 21, 2019 We are doing assembling and
Installing Computers which will be delivered on specific customers. 6 th day
February 22, 2019, we are installing again Operating System(OS) on
computers with complete drivers and softwares of the customer’s needed.
On February 23-24, 2019 (7th day & 8th day )we are doing the same routin of
what we did from the other day. 9 th day February 25, 2019, we are making
UTP CABLE and Crimping for the internet connection and networking
computer purposes. 10th day February 26, 2019, we are set-upping
Ncomputing (Dual Desktop in one Central Processing Unit(CPU)).
When taking the Work Immersion, I thought it’s easier than going to
school, but I’m wrong. Work place is much different than studying, it needs
a lot of time to focus and to maintain the relationship between co-worker
and Manager. I am not saying that its hard, but it is the reason why we are
working as a trainee to encounter the differences between School and
Work Place.
With the help of this, we can be ready for our journey in working and
be comfortable and familiar with the world of business-related conditions
which is in line with our specializations. This training(Work Immersion) is
useful as it enables us to decide if what we have chosen and what we want
to have as a career. Through this it enables us to test our skills and
knowledge in practice which will help us to devepe our desired career.
