1.How do you describe your feelings and thoughts about respect and
discrimination, and why?
It's unfortunate to learn that many people face discrimination. We should
all respect each other's lives, regardless of race, color, or gender. As of
today’s world, discrimination is concerning to a point where people is
being treated differently because of their skin color, gender, or social
status. 

2. When do you know if respect is being shown? if there is discrimination? Cite


some indicators.
When everyone in the room is treated equally, regardless of their status or
religion, respect is displayed.
Where discrimination is visible, there is injustice and unfair treatment
among persons of various social statuses in life.

3. Is it possible to replace discrimination with respect? How?


Yes, by acknowledging another person’s personal opinion and beliefs, and
not making a judgment out of them.

I notice that my answers are well thought of and correct in a way

As a result of our experiences, we develop new attitudes or ways of dealing with others;
for example, if we were mistreated as children, we are more likely to become bullies or
people who have little faith in our abilities.

3. How do you build or maintain a harmonious relationship with others?


By being a better person and ensuring that each and every person's sentiments are
acknowledged, that everyone is unique, and that we accept who we are.

What I have Learned


1. What are your experiences of showing respect to people like your family,
friends, and classmates?
I give respect by being respectful of your family begins with being polite. It also means learning how to
listen to each other when you disagree and even when you are upset. Another way of being respectful is just
being there for one another and showing you care.
For my friends and classmates I make sure to be there when they need someone to lean on and we may
disagree on many things I always make sure to respect her decisions

2. How do we keep harmony with others especially during this time of pandemic?
The pandemic has affected so much lives especially our mental health. That is why I keep in contact with
my friends and relatives. Aside from that I give time and listen to them.

3. How did the pandemic affect the way you treat people? How do you interact
with other people?
Staying at home for months made me develop my social anxiety. Right now I’ve been afraid to go even
outside of the house, thinking that I may have the virus with me.
