ASSESMENT

1. When is your life considered “good”?

I can consider my life as good when I become a professional teacher that can afford the basic
needs to survive, living with my loving husband and beautiful children.

2. What do you want to be in this life?

In this life, I want to be able to achieve my dreams, live a happy life and be able to try all the great
things the world can offer.

3. Are you happy on earth if your life span reach 150 years? Reason out.

If I could reach up to a 150 years old and still have a healthy body then I would be happy because I
get to see the advancement of the world and I also get to have more time to spend with my loved ones and
create more memories.

4. Is it possible in the future to have the following hybrid?

a. Half-animal-half-human

Yes it would be possible but only to a certain extent, because todays technology allows organs and
body parts from an animal to be used as replacement to a damaged part of the body. Today this is
known as Xenotransplantation, where currently a kidney from a genetically altered pig was successfully
transplanted to a human without any signs of rejection.

b. Half-machine-half-human

This would also be possible because prosthetic limbs are getting more advanced and currently a
bionic limb is attached to a woman with both arms amputated and is now doing activities as a teacher
with the help of her bionic limb.

5. Is there a time on earth when robots are no longer controlled by man?

Basing on todays technology we can say that this time already is happening and is continuing to
develop but only to certain extent. For example, some cleaning robots are pre-programmed with softwares
that enables them to clean a house without any human intervention except only when it runs out of battery.
We can also include smartphones as robots as they are also learning the environment with the help of
artificial technology. Robots can only mimic what a human can do without any control from humans but
with certain limitations.
ASSESMENT

A. If you are given the chance to write a magazine article by technology what would be the title and why?

Title: Technology in a Pandemic

Reason: This would be my title for my article because technology has been a great deal during the
pandemic where people are mostly confined inside their houses. The education of the students greatly relied on
the use of modern technology. Technology has been greatly utilized in bridging the gap of inability to freely roam
outside and perform basic tasks to acquire our basic needs and survive. Many workers have lost their jobs and
some are lucky to be able to work from home with the help of technology. Most importantly, the discovery and
creation of vaccines through the use of modern technology is achieved.
