    1. Introduction
    This method statement is developed to adopt a suitable, safe and effective method for Lifting Shifting Material LT
    Panel to Admin Building, 1st 2nd floor From GF UPS Room

    2. Scope and Purpose


    This procedure deals with lifting shifting work for LT Panel from GF open area front side. It is subject to
    revision depending upon requirements and site condition at the field in consent with Safety Officer In-
    charge. The purpose of this procedure is to:
    a. Provide approved, and controlled methodology for effective unloading and lifting the material works
    activities.
    b. Bring uniformity in the job to supervision.
    c. Minimize the error and non-conformance.

    d. The necessary safety precautions will be taken in selection of lifting shifting machinery, task briefing to
    workers and lifting shifting of work. The work intended to execute under the method statement will be
    carried out according to safety provisions.
    3. Procedure (Lifting)
    a. Clearance and barricade of field area is importance before unloading with nobody around lifting area.
    b. The spotter should be given sign to driver where the material should be lifting shifting.
    c. Unloading should be possible in dry condition. It shall be observed that any obstruction may change this
    situation.
    d. Crane position should be able to reach the material as well as length boom of Crane.
    e. LT Panel material should tie up well with Weber sling as required weight. Then hook up at boom lower
    sheaves with shackle.
    f. Lift up material slowly from crane boom on building Floor from GF open area front side
    g. Required 20 ton on Lifting Crane to lift to material to Admin Building floor.
    h. On Admin Building's Front Side Road Barricading Marked A Is Crane Location Inside Side Of
    Barricading Marked On 30Ft radius area,
    i. Single LT Panel maxm Dia …………………………… Weight Approximately 200-500 Kg maximum
    j. On Photo Marked B Is Material Staking on Ground Floor.
    k. Make sure material has landing at floor and loose the weber sling from boom hoist sheaves hook
    4. SHE Aspects
    Manpower must be use complete PPE (masker, hand glove, safety shoes, helmet) As per requirement.

    4.1 Manpower Worker


    - Operator (1 person).
    - Rigger (1 persons)
    - Driver (1 person)
    - Helper (5 person)

    4.2 Tools
    - Shifting Jack or Roller
    - Weber Sling if required
    - D Shackles
    - Barricade Line
    - Slings
    - 20 Ton Crane.
