AutoCAD P&ID Basic Course

Course description
In this 1-day basic course will teach you and Process Piping diagrams generate using AutoCAD P &
ID, the new way to generate P & ID Autodesk Plant Solutions. During the course the user will not only
address the easy to use user interface, but will also be considerable attention paid to the Project
Manager and Data functions. These two features allow users to very large potential for modifying and
adding information, but also to generate reports, complete central project data and publish an entire
project.

Basics
The student is expected to have basic knowledge of AutoCAD, any experience with AutoCAD is
desirable for better understanding of the opportunities in AutoCAD P & ID. Knowledge of Process
Piping and schedules is recommended but not required, however it makes the course easier to follow
if the student has some knowledge of the process industry.

Duration
The course will take 1 day, during days, the necessary topics needed to generate schedules and
Process Piping. Also, during the course to be taken deeper into the Project Manager and Data, as
these two features are an essential part of AutoCAD P & ID. After each chapter, the trainee will
develop an exercise, allowing the participant to be considered after the course AutoCAD P & ID to
work during daily activities.

AutoCAD P&ID Advanced Course

Course description
In this 2-day advanced course teaches you how AutoCAD P & ID business you manage, monitor and
implement. During this course a lot of emphasis on the refurbishment of AutoCAD P & ID
environment, which includes the creation of AutoCAD P & ID symbols, annotations, project settings
and standards. After this 2 day course the student is able to AutoCAD P & ID environment to modify
and add components including all the necessary settings.

Basics
To participate in this course has extensive knowledge and experience with modifying an AutoCAD
environment is recommended. Knowledge and experience in generating Piping and instrumentation
diagrams is recommended but not required.

Duration
The course lasts two days, which will be extensive information on the necessary functions such as
setting up templates and creating AutoCAD P & ID objects. It also will provide more detail on the
capabilities and settings on the Project Manager and Data as its own properties, selection lists, and
reporting templates. Each chapter will end with an exercise, so the trainee after the training, will have
the AutoCAD P & ID environment to adapt and expand to the required company standard.

AutoCAD P&ID with SQL

Course description
This one day intensive course teaches you how AutoCAD P & ID with a SQL database can
link. AutoCAD P & ID by linking with SQL opens a new range of possibilities. To set up not only the
information from AutoCAD P & ID available for the rest of your organization, but you'll also have the
option of report-generation software to generate reports based on the information in the SQL
database.

Basics
The student has no specific knowledge of databases, some work experience with AutoCAD P & ID is
desirable to better understand the capabilities of AutoCAD P & ID combined with a
database. Knowledge of databases is recommended but not required, however it makes the course
easier to follow if the student has some knowledge of the possibilities that a database can provide.

Duration
The course will take 1 day, during those days, the necessary topics needed to link AutoCAD P & ID
with SQL.Also during the course will be taken deeper into Database maintenance and changing

AutoCAD Plant 3D Basic

Course Description
In AutoCAD Plant 3D fundamentals, we elaborate on the possibilities that this new software solution,
the designers and engineers provide process systems. During the training, all necessary modules will
be discussed and any student behind its own system, after thorough explanation, independent
exercises. The duration of the course is 3 days, where we assume that the student has knowledge
and experience with external references in AutoCAD and 3D environment.

Basics
If the student does not have the knowledge and experience with external references and 3D AutoCAD
environment to go, we advise our basic minimum for engineers to follow. In this shortened course of 2
days AutoCAD is taught the necessary knowledge of AutoCAD.
