    CRITIQUE PAPER
    “Reading is the Inhale; Writing is the Exhale.” By. Mary K. Tedrow (June 5, 2020)
    In this article from 2020 an award winning high School Teacher, have explained the Importance of
    Reading and Writing. She have discussed how reading and writing is dependent to each other just
    like Inhaling and exhaling. In the early readers she had discussed that writing is the best way for
    the reader to ingest the knowledge which they had read about and further more learn about it just
    like how we experiment with growing letters and how it symbolizes its functions as we speak.

    She also discussed how Spelling have greatly contributed to the kindergartens as they take on the
    writing and understanding of new words and letters as they have expanded their dictionaries and
    practice their reading and their writing so that they can build a deeper understanding how this
    works.

    However, it does not just limit to the contribution of the use of inventive Spelling to the Students.
    Teachers have also gone beyond it and have ask the students to free write about their purposes
    which the teachers discovered that because of this the students have learned how to choose their
    authors as they create their own work to move their readers. This way the Students have written
    their own work authentically with their own research and knowledge as they have been required to
    make their own work and have used reading on how to make a best one and made writing as their
    production of their work.

    The author emphasizes that each of us have different ways of reading and analyzing the work of
    others. However, this also means that if we also start writing our own work it will also let us have
    the knowledge on how did the different authors did it and how does its messiness served its purpose
    on creating and producing an effective communication between the authors and the reader.

    The author did a very good job in expressing her own though about the importance of reading and
    writing as she had also highlighted the contribution of inventive spelling for the kindergartens.
    That is how Reading and writing helps in producing a student who knows how to be more
    observant and more appreciative in understanding what they are reading in general and how can
    they also be competitive in their writing skills as they improve it while using it as a way to breath
    and relax and let out the their emotions
