Steps to follow for installation of DSC Signer Services - Drivers

Step 1: Go through the URL:- https://eoffice.gov.in/dsc.php

Based on the Client Operating Systems download the following 4.1 DSC Signer Service drivers

If the System OS is windows 32 Bit Architecture, then select and install Digital Signer
Service 4.1_x86.msi

If the System OS is windows 64 Bit Architecture, then select and install Digital Signer
Service 4.1_x64.msi .

If MAC OS then download the MAC DSC signer service version 4.1

If Ubuntu then download the Ubuntu DSC signer service version 4.1

Step 2: Download the JAVA

• For 32-bit windows OS, click on below link:

Note: - For Mac and ubuntu systems there is an inbuilt script added in DSC installer file, to install the
required java version automatically so no need to add JAVA.

Step 3: Check the service status by using below URLs for enable the ports

• Check the service status by using below URLs

http://127.0.0.1:55100/check/isLive

https://127.0.0.1:55101/check/isLive
• For Mozilla Firefox: -

Open the Mozilla browser and enter the URL https://127.0.0.1:55101/check/isLive then it will show
your connection is not secure – click on advance and add exception then click on Confirm Security
Exception then the browser will confirm and displays the message “Success”

• For Google Chrome: -

Open the Chrome browser and enter the URL https://127.0.0.1:55101/check/isLive then
Click Advance (Advance) and then Click on “Proceed to 127.0.0.1” (Unsafe) button to add an exception.
Then the browser will confirm and displays the message “Success”

Note: Additionally, in Google Chrome we need to enable the local host option

Run the URL chrome://flags/#allow-insecure-localhost in address bar and enable the below point

Allow invalid certificates for resources loaded from local host – Enable and relaunch the browser.

• For Internet Explorer:

Open the Internet Explorer and enter the URL https://127.0.0.1:55101/check/isLive

Then the “Success”’ message will appears

In case success message does not appear, or certificate is not available, then follow below steps to import
the SSL certificate.

Steps to update SSL certificate are


• Open Internet Explorer browser window and go to the Setting icon and select the Internet options.
• Click Content tab and select the Certificates button
• Under certificates window go to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities tab and click Im-
port button.
Browse the certificate from the Pre-Requisites folder, in this folder the required certificate file is
available with file name 127.0.0.1 and click Next button.
• Click Finish button to close the process
• Security warning window appears, click Yes button
• The message box prompt “The import was successful”, click Ok button

Step 4: - For Java Control Panel

Open control panel -> Java -> Security Tab -> Select High ( under security level of the application ) and
click on “Edit Site List” and add the url https://eoffice.ap.gov.in . Then click on “Apply” and “OK”
Step 5: -Re-register DSC certificate in eFile :-

Once Re-register the DSC token in eOffice login after the completion of entire setup
