ACTIVITIES
i. PRE-LESSON 1. Pupils match the adjective flashcards to the corresponding pictures
on the board.
2. Check answers with the class.
ii. LESSON 3. Teacher asks a boy and a girl to come forward.
DEVELOPMENT 4. Teacher points to her own hair and say ‘I have got straight hair’.
Then, the teacher points to the boy’s hair and says ‘He has got
straight hair’. The same goes to the girl.
5. Next, the teacher points to both of the pupils and say ‘They have got
straight hair’.
6. In groups of three, pupils role play the conversation on Student’s
Book page 5 and describe their own and their friends’ appearance.
iii. POST LESSON 7. Pupils are divided into six groups and play ‘Chinese Whispers’
game.
8. The first person in each group will be given a picture card. The pupil
describes the character in the picture using the sentences learnt and
whispers it to the ear of the second person. The second person
repeats it to the third person and so on. When the last person is
reached, he announces the answer.
9. Check answer with the class.
