Activity 1

1. Modern societies face growing concerns like concerning global environmental issues
and  development. Countries are experiencing complex, serious, and fast-growing
environmental problems of their own. First point, blame undisciplined individuals within
society, simply because most of them are not following those measures, rules and
regulations in protecting our green environment. If we look at the macro and micro
effects of unruly actions of humans with regards to protecting the environment, it
probably affects the lives concerning of many people, devastates the habitats of all living
things, and may destroy a country’s economy. Next, the government and authorities
must implement and raise programs and seminars regarding environmental protection
and be responsible for each of us. These programs serve as an adjustment to
understand how protecting the environment is important and what the impact of the
environment has on the existence of humans. The most important point is that our
responsibility for taking care of the environment probably complies with the laws that are
managed to protect and care for the environment and to discipline people from living in
it. Always remember we must know the right and wrong before taking action.
2. As we all know, cutting down trees or shall we say, deforestation, is forbidden, but it
has become another people’s occupation, most especially families in rural communities.
As a younger generation, the best way to maintain ecological balance is to plant more
trees and plants to make the environment greener, healthier, and more exquisite.
Another way is to be a responsible human and limit burning trees and garbage as well.
Based on my intellectual capacity, I believe the best and most sustainable way to protect
nature is to be well-oriented and disciplined. To put it another way, carefully manage
natural resources, protect water, reduce logging and deforestation, reduce
chlorofluorocarbons, stop open burning, and appreciate nature’s beauty.

3. We, as young minds, need to clearly understand how to maintain ecological balance
and different ways to save future species from extinction. As a student, I know that my
simple contribution helps have a bigger impact on protecting species in nature, including
reducing and reusing, disposing of harsh chemicals in our house, advocating
conservation, and preventing soil erosion. Furthermore, maintaining a healthy backyard
habitat and supporting conservation avocations will go a long way toward saving species
from extinction, which will lead to the maintenance of ecological balance in an
equilibrium state.

Activity 2.

A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying
The air and giving fresh strength to our people. ― Franklin D. Roosevelt

Part II

All living organisms were created for a purpose in relation to humans and other
species on earth, and the global system in general. As a future educator, understanding
the seven principles of the environment and environmental laws is complex and
important. These seven principles act as guidance for judges and decision-makers,
giving laws shape and meaning. They are used in a whole host of government and
public authority decisions, including planning applications, management of marine
protected areas and dealing with contaminated land. Ecological balance and underlying
laws and protection are important because they lead to the continuous existence of
organisms. It ensures that no particular species is exploited or overused. As a whole, by
simply following and keeping in mind those seven principles, we are making a powerful
impact wherein the balance of nature needs to be maintained to acquire a stable
equilibrium for the harmonious survival of plants, animals, and other living beings on this
planet. Always remember this quotation of mine, “The environment is no one’s property
to destroy; it’s everyone’s responsibility to protect.”
