ACTIVITIES PRE-LESSON 1. Teacher writes in the centre of the board and elicits all the
ones students can remember.
2. Teacher mimes a robot if students don’t give you this
word.
3. Teacher tells the class that this unit is about a robot.
LESSON DELIVERY Activity 1(SB page 94)
1. Students look at the picture in their SB.
2. Teacher elicits who they can see( the Super Friends),
where they are (in the garden) and what Thunder is
carrying ( a robot kit). Teacher pre-teaches kit.
3. Teacher plays the recording again. Students repeat the
body words.
4. Students practice pointing to their body parts and naming
them in pairs.
Activity 2(SB page 94)
1. Students look at the chant.
2. Teacher plays the recording. Students listen and follow the
chant in their SB.
3. Teacher checks understanding of new vocabulary.
4. Teacher plays the recording again, pausing after each
verse for students to repeat.
5. Teacher does the chant as a class and then in groups.
6. Teacher makes 8 groups. Each group is a part of the body.
7. Students do the chant again, standing up and pointing to
the relevant body part when they chant it.
POST LESSON 1. Students stand up.
2. Teacher says the body parts one after another.
3. Students say the word and touch the relevant body part.
