TRAINING OBJECTIVES

This course aims to produce such a workforce in the field of grading of shoe component
for the footwear industry who could carry out grading of shoe patterns by Hand &
Machine and make the marking pattern according to shoe sizing systems as per need of
the footwear industry along with ethical values.

CURRICULUM SALIENT:

Entry level : 1) Matric with one year of working


experience

: 2) Middle with two year experience


in the relevant field.
Duration of Course : 3-Months.
Total Working Days : 288 Hours
24 Hours per Week
Training Hours : 4 Hours per Day
6 Days per Week
Training Methodology : Theory 20 %
: Practical 80 %
Medium of Instruction : English / Urdu

SKILL PROFICIENCY DETAILS:

On successful completion of this course, the trainee should be able to:-

1. Make the Tin templates.

2. Grade the shoe components by using hand grading compass.

3. Grade the shoe components by using linham grading machine.

4. Make the Tin Templates for hand cutting of upper material.

5. Make the marking patterns for production purpose.

6. Use the grading machine for both English & French system

7. Prepare & set the equipment.

8. Manage the inventory of pattern store room.

9. Prepare the profiles for last manufacturing.

4. Explain the preparation of marking patterns for production.

6. Describe the shoe sizing system.

7. Express the hand Grading compass, Linham Grading Machine, Procedure &
Formulation

8. Define the hand cutting & die cutting methods.

9. Define the dies cutting code nos.

10. Define cutting dies measurements (e.g. Heights / Width / Techniques / Materials).
