Difference between Soft and Hard Skills?

• Soft Skills —> they are character traits and interpersonal skills that
characterize relationships with other people. We can also use the term
soft skills to describe a person's emotional intelligence quotient (EQ) as
opposed to intelligence quotient (IQ).

• Hard Skills —> they are specific abilities, capabilities, that an individual can
possess and demonstrate in a measured way. Possessing a hard skill implies

• The HR Strategy speaks about the main objetives, vision and mission of the
company. How would we like to see our company’s HR in 10 years? Are our
company core values going to change? Are we going to diversify the
business? Is our mision or vision going to change during the following
years?

• The HR Planning consists in the specific operations and activities developed


to achieve the previous plan. How many people are we going to recruit,
which profiles? Are we going to introduce a new HR Management
Software? Will we need to outsource the HR recruitment?

• Always link the HR Strategy to the Plan.

• The Strategy has to be Measurable.

• The Strategy has to be Realistic.

• There has to be a constant Follow-up of the KPIs designed.

• Strategy in not static and can be changed anytime depending on the External or Internal Factors.

• The HR Strategy Communication downstream is as important as the Strategy itself.
