 Main screen
Standby main screen after power on, showing time and date and function keys, as shown below:

1. Setting icon: Login the administrator mode, it can


add/modify users and set the terminal.
2. Keypad icon: Verify by password.
3. Return icon: Return to the previous page (can be selected
by highlighting)
4. Portrait icon: After clicked, manually enter face
recognition mode.
5. House icon: Return to the main screen (can be selected
by highlighting)

Common password verification: Click on keypad icon → touch " ID / P " to the common
password page → after imported the common password, click V to confirm, as shown below:

Personal password verification: Click on keypad icon → enter user ID and confirm by V
→ enter password and confirm by V, as shown below:

 Function List

 Enter into the function list







 Click the set symbol on the left side of the standby screen,
enter the administrator password page, enter the password,
 and after entered, click the confirmation key ↵ or v.
(Note: Default administrator password: 123456)

 Enter the password to enter the administrator page, as shown


on the left:
1. User: Add, edit and delete user.
2. Device: The device can be set in General setup, Door setup,
USB backup/restore and Time setting.
3. Communication: Return to the previous page (can be clicked
by highlighted)
4. Information: Displays the Registration number, Access log,
System log and Device information.

 User Management

 1. User
1. Click the "User" in function list, it can manage user, as shown below:

2. Enter the " User " in the function menu , as shown below:

1. Add user: add user and register face or card


2. Edit / delete user: single user can be modified or deleted
3. Delete all users: Click to delete all users
4. Number of registered user: Shows the number of
registered users and registered faces

1-1 Add user
1. Enter the Function menu of " Add user " , it will display the user registration project,
as shown below:

1. User ID : The user ID cannot be blank, and it can enter a


value from 1 to 4294967295
2. Card no. : Enter the card number or directly click the card
icon below to register the card
3. Password : Enter the user password
4. Password confirmation: Enter the password again to confirm
the user password
5. Status : Activate / Deactivate, set the user status to enabled
or disabled
6. Scanning: It can register face or swipe card to register

2. Click the confirmation button “V” after the registration is finished.


*Please register face in the frame. The size of the face should be same with the frame.
And follow the steps as below to register, follow the device indication to move up
and down or right and left slightly.

Color indication:
Green: Face detected
Red: Face undetected
Blue: Human face was originally detected but not detected
subsequently
Yellow: Human face is detected, but the capture feature is
unsuccessful, re-capturing

1-2 Edit / delete user
1. Enter into the "Edit / delete user", follow the steps, enter user ID and click delete / edit,
as shown below:

1. X icon: delete user


2. Edit icon: edit user

2. If you want to edit a user, after entering the user ID , click the edit icon, it will enter the
edit page, you can modify the user information, as shown below:

1. User ID: User ID


2. Card number: Enter the card number or directly click the card
icon below to register with the card
3. Password: Enter the personal password
4. Password confirmation: Enter the password again to confirm
the user password
5. Status: Activate / Deactivate, set the user status to enabled
or disabled
6. Scanning: It can register face or swipe card to register

3. Delete the user: Enter the user ID, click the delete icon, you will be asked to confirm
the deletion, click YES to confirm, to delete user.

1-3 Delete all users
Enter "Delete all users", you will be asked if you want to confirm the deletion. Click YES to
delete all users, as shown below:

1-4 Number of registered user


Click on “Number of Register able User”, the number of registered users and the number of
registered faces will be displayed, as shown below:
(* Note: 20,000 users can be registered, and 2,000 faces can be registered)

 2. Device

1. Click "Device" in the function menu to set the device, as shown below:

2. Enter "Device" in the function menu , as shown below:

1. General settings: Set device parameters such as volume,


brightness, language and face authentication mode, etc.
2. Door setup: Set the door open / close, delay time of relay
and enable Bypass mode, etc.
3. Reset settings & USB: Reset device and USB backup
and restore data
4. Clock: Set the date and time of the device

2-1 General settings
1. Enter the "General Settings" of the function menu, and the device setting items will be
displayed, as shown below:

1. Volume: Adjust the volume of the device, pull down the menu 0
~ 5, the larger number is the louder, 0 is mute.
2. Brightness: Adjust the brightness when operating the device. The
pull-down menu is 0 ~ 5, the larger number is the brighter.
3. Standby brightness: Adjust the standby brightness, pull
down the menu 0 ~ 2, the larger number is brighter.
4. Language: Set the device language to English / Traditional
Chinese / Simplified Chinese, pull down menu ENG / CHT
/ CHS.
5. Face recognition mode: Set face recognition to
automatic / manual / function key verification , pull down menu
Auto / Manual / Function Key Trigger Mode
(Note: Refer to 5-1 for how to use face authentication mode)

2. Click the confirmation key V when the setting is completed.

2-2 Door settings


■ Enter the " Door Settings " of the function menu, as shown below:

1. Door open delay time: Set the power open relay time, the
factory default value is 10 seconds, can be set from 0 to
255 seconds.
2. Door close delay time: Set the alarm time when the door is
not closed (the door magnetic detection needs to be enabled).
The factory preset value is 10 seconds, which can be set from
0 to 255 seconds.
3. Relay delay time: Set the reset time of the door lock relay
(the door magnetic detection is required). The factory preset
value is 0 seconds, which can be set to 0 ~ 255 seconds.
4. Door magnetic detection method: Disable / Enable, the
default value is Disable.
5. Bypass: Disable / Enable. The default value is Disable.

2-3 Reset Settings & USB
■ Enter " Reset Settings & USB " in the function menu , as shown below:

1. Reboot: The device reboots after clicking.


2. Back to the factory default: Click to reset the device setting back
to the factory preset value.
3. Export: Save system settings / user data / access log and export
to USB
4. Import: Use USB to import the system settings / user data
backup file to the device.

2- 3-1 Reboot
■ Click " Reboot ", it will appear again whether to confirm the execution, click YES to restart
the device, as shown below :

2-3-2 Back to factory default
■ Click " Back to factory default ", the device will return to the factory preset value. You
can check the options you want to keep, as shown below:

1. Keep TID: Keep terminal ID


2. Keep terminal IP / web port : Keep terminal IP / web port
(default IP 192.168.0.66/port80)
3. Keep software IP / port : Keep software IP / software port
(default port2000)
4. Keep user data
5. Keep Access log
6. Keep system log
7. Keep group / time zone / time set / holiday

2-3-3 Export
■ Click " Export ", select the data to be backed up, and export the data to USB, as shown
below

1. System profile: Including terminal settings,


communication settings, time zone and door settings, etc.
2. User information
Note: The export format of system setting file and user data is
for device reading format. Import data can only be imported by
device USB.
3. Access log
Note: The txt file exported from the access log can be imported
by SOMAC

Login SOMAC → Tool → Import → Import Entry log from


USB Backup, as shown below

2-3-4 Import
■ Click " Import " and use USB to import the system settings / user data backup file to the
device.

1. System profile: Including terminal settings, communication


settings, time zone and door settings, etc.
2. User information

2-4 Date and time
■ Click " Date and time " to enter the device time setting page.

1. Date: Year / month / day


2. Time (24H) : Hours / minutes / seconds

 3. Communication

■ Enter " Communication " in the function menu, the communication information will be
displayed, as shown below:

1. The DHCP: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol set OFF / ON


2. TID: Terminal number
3. IP address: Terminal IP (default IP 192.168.0.66)
4. Subnet mask: Device subnet mask address
5. Preset gateway: The preset gateway address of the device
6. DNS: DNS address of the device
7. Software IP : Software IP address
8. Communication port: Software communication port
(default port2000)

 4. Information
■ Enter " Information " in the function menu, it will show system information , as shown
below:

1. Registered user: Show the number of registered users (Max:


20000)
2. Access logs: Show the current access logs (Max: 200000)
3. System log: Display the current system log (Max: 10000)
4. Boot version: Boot loader version
5. HW: Hardware version
6. SN: Serial number, Equipment serial number
7. FW Ver: Firmware version
8. FW Released Date: Firmware Released Date
9. MAC: MAC address

 5. Verification steps
5-1 Face Verification Mode
There are three modes of face recognition mode, Auto ( manual verification ) , Manual ( manual
verification ) , Function Key Trigger Mode ( function key verification )

1. Auto ( automatic verification ) : When the face machine detects the face, it will automatically
start verification.

2. Manual ( manual verification ) : Click the verification icon before the face machine will start face
verification

3. The Trigger Mode Key Function ( function key verification ) : After clicked function key, it will
be face verification.
*Note: This mode only supports F 1 ~ F4 keys, not support function keys + numbers.

5-2 Process of using the function key to verify
Click F1 ~ F4 to start face / swipe / password verification (if there are numbers, select F1 ~ F4, then
press keypad, enter the function key to enter numbers, and then start verification)

Face/Card/Password verification – Function key
1. Face verification - To use the function keys: Click the function key and start face
verification ( because in the automatic verification mode, it may be too late to press the
function key to automatically detect the verification. It is recommended to use the function
keys for face verification, optional manual or function key verification)

i. Manual face verification - function key operation: After clicking the function key, click the
face verification icon , as shown below

ii. Function key verification mode - Function key operation : Click the function key to enter
face verification mode

2. Swipe to verify - Using the function key: Click the function key and then swipe to verify

3. Password verification - Using the function keys:
i. After tapping the function key – tap the keypad

ii.It will pop out the enter function key number page→ click “ID/P ” to switch the input user
ID page → after entering the user ID , click V to confirm

iii. After entering the user password, click V to confirm

5-3. Face verification 1: 1 or 1: N
The face verification preset comparison is 1 : N, To use 1: 1 verification, the steps are as follows
Tap the keypad → enter user ID → tap the icon of face verification , than start 1: 1 face
verification.
