Supreme Pupil Government of Eriberto A. Remigio Elementary School aims to develop pupils’
awareness on democratic form of government, enhance leadership skills of pupils and encourage them to
participate actively in all school activities for the attainment of school’s vision and mission.

A. ORIENTATION of SPG ELECTION to Advisers

After the Division Meeting, I instantly set a meeting to all the advisers from Grade IV – VI. We discussed
the interim guidelines and the mode of elections under new normal situation. We all agreed that we are
going to appoint homeroom class officers. GC was made also for easy communication.

B. APPOINTMENT of HOMEROOM OFFICERS.

Before the election, homeroom officers were appointed by their advisers. The position for was
composed of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Public Information Officer (PIO),
Protoco Officer (P.O.), Grade Level Chairperson and Representative.

C. MEETING with the APPOINTED Officers and Selection of those will run for SPG Elections

After having appointed homeroom officers, I set a date to meet all the officers for the selections of
those who wants to run. Upon the meeting almost all the officers want to run for the SPG elections. So I
discussed all the needed Election Application Paraphernalia’s for them to accomplish it to the given
scheduled date. GC was made for us to communicate easier.SPG Fb page was also active where we can
cooperate.
D. CONSOLIDATION and EVALUATION of EAPs

Through the help of Mrs. Josephine B. Guanlao, SPG COMELEC member, they gathered all the
submitted EAPs and evaluate whether the participant has a complete submitted paraphernalia.

E. POSTING of OFFICIAL LIST OF CANDIDATES

With the help of SPG COMELEC, all EAPs were evaluated. On Oct. 6, 2021, the final list of
official candidates for SPG elections were posted to EARES SPG fb page.

After posting the official list of candidates for SPG Elections, the schedule of election was posted also and
the instruction how to vote.
F. ELECTION CAMPAIGN
Each candidate submitted their campaign videos to be compiled. Their campaign videos were
posted through EARES SPG fb page and were shared to GRADE IV-VI class for them to watch. This
campaign videos were posted from Oct. 11-13.

G. ELECTION Proper
Election of SPG Officers was held on October 14, 2021 (6:30 AM-!2:00 Noon). AP teachers and
SPG Adviser served as Board of Inspectors (BEI). They were given election paraphernalia: ballots and the
list of voters. Elections were done during their synchronous time. We used google form as ballots and
google meet as our platform during election.
After 12:00n, out of the 220 voters,164 were actual voters. Through this election, pupils’ right to
vote was exercised.

H. Proclamation of Winners
On the same date, Oct. 14, 2021 (3:00 PM), proclamation of winners were done through google
meet. The google meet were also recorded for those who wasn’t able to attend the proclamation of
winners. The result were presented real time. The response were generated through spreadsheet. The
summary of votes per candidate was also shown to them. The result was posted also to our SPG Fb page.
I. OATH TAKING CEREMONIES
Oath taking ceremonies was done on October 15, 2021 (10:00 AM). The program went well, our
con-current Principal, Ma’am Cecilia O. Barnachia inducted the oath taking. Our Master Teacher Maria
Leonora gave also her opening remarks. The presentation of newly elected SPG Officers and awarding of
certificates was done by SPG Adviser, Sarah Jane T. Villete. With the help of all the SPG COMELEC,
oath taking ceremony was held successfully. The Oath taking ceremony were also posted to SPG FB
page.
