Web LCT - RTN Access Issue

ISSUE DESCRIPTION
2- Click search then New
NE details discovered
(Note: NE search option
has more than one option
use whatever suitable,
here we show 2 modes
Search NE & IP auto
sensing)
1- After
connecting the
Laptop to NMS
port on RTN
click on NE
search 3- Change Gateway type
to SSL Gateway by double
clicking <Next>Click on
add NE

Since RTN
abnormal and Not
logged in you can’t
access the RTN
SOLUTION STEP-1

Use you phone or


laptop to take
back up picture of
the following data
(NE ID & Gateway
IP Address)
SOLUTION STEP-2

Using the previous


saved photo Change the
laptop IP to the same
range of the RTN IP (for
example: RTN gateway
IP 129.9.108.94 and
Laptop IP is changed to
129.9.10.93

Configure sub netmask


as follows 255.255.0.0

Note RTN default IP’s


mostly start with
129.9.XXX.XXX
Previous saved NE data

SOLUTION STEP-3
that is needed for
manual configuration

Using the previous


saved photo add RTN
configuration data (NE
ID, Extended ID & IP 1- Click on Add NE
address) for example option to configure
the current NE data 2 the NE Manually
NE ID: 146 >>>2-then you will
Extended ID: 27742 have a pop up menu
Gateway Type: SSL Gateway asking you to fill-in
IP: 129.9.108.94 the RTN data
Port no.: 5432 (by default
when using SSL)
Username: szhw
Password: Changeme_123

After filling-in above data


click ok
Login Status changes to>>( Logged in)

RESULT

After configuring
the new NE
Manually it
appears in a
(Normal State)
NOTES
• When connecting through WEB LCT and after following above steps if NE-ID is
showing 0-0 please Reset the WEB LCT and your laptop
• After following the above steps and NE was added successfully manual but
communication is abnormal please Reset the WEB LCT and your laptop
