Instructions and guide

Please follow these steps to connect VGamepad to your computer.

After you installed the App on your Phone

Our recommendation is PCGameConsole, why you should choose it? Go to the last page to learn more.

Note: Please add the software to your security suite exception list in order to prevent blockage and interference.

Please do not install both server-side programs on your PC.

Option One: PCGameConsole (YouTube Instruction)

2. After the Game Scan Process finished, go to the Settings menu (gear sign) and enter the highlighted IP on
your phone.

3. Choose a password to secure your connection and hit Update button and then, enter the same password
on your phone as well.

Congratulations, you are done with the connection part. Green LED is the successful connection indicator. Red
means that you have connectivity issue*.

*Note: Please make sure that your firewall is not blocking the connection.

Also please make sure that both PC and phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network or on the same network if
your PC is connected through LAN.

4. Per successful connection, you will get a prompt for controller driver installation.

5. Finish the installation.

Option Two: VGamepad-Server (YouTube Instruction)

2. Enter the highlighted IP on your phone.

VGamepad Settings panel

1. ENTER SERVER IP: To enter or change the server IP. You can change the IP anytime you want.
2. ENTER PASSWORD: To enter or change the server password. You can change it anytime you want.
3. STICK GALLERY: To change Joystick stick image, choose from a vast selection of images.
4. HELP: Takes you to our GitHub page.
5. Device/Theme: Selects the device type (PS or Xbox) and then the theme/color (NONE is a theme without a
background and you can freely move buttons).
6. Sound: Enables sound feedback on button’s press.
7. Move Buttons: Enters to the buttons moving mode which you can select any control/button and move
them around.
8. RESET BUTTONS: Sets the buttons/controls back to their default positions.
9. Haptic: Enables haptic/vibrate feedback on button’s press.
10. Shock: Turns shock feedback on/off.
11. Continuous Touch: Enables you to click A/B/X/Y or equivalent PS buttons in any direction you want
without re-touching the screen. Disabling this will turn those buttons to the classic button mode.
12. Navi+Motion: Enables motion control on the Navigation/D-pad.
13. Joy1+Motion: Enables motion control on the Joystick 1 (left side).
14. Joy2+Motion: Enables motion control on the Joystick 2 (right side).
15. High Sensitivity: Makes the motion control more sensitive (moves more with less phone motion).
16. X-Axis Only: The motion control moves only in X axis (Great for racing games).
17. Y-Axis Invert: Inverts the move in Y axis on the motion control feature.
This button starts/stops recording/streaming (functionality can change on the server-side software).

This button enables/disables mic (functionality can change on the server-side software/push to talk).

Why PCGameConsole?
Because it makes PC gaming more fun.

1. Turn on your PC & sign in to windows.

2. Hit Start on your VGamepad or Controller and it will execute PCGameConsole automatically.
3. Choose your game and play it!

PCGameConsole also allows you to move your pc cursor with the controller (left joystick), you have left click

(A button)/right click (B button), horizontal/vertical scrolls (right joystick), click start again to
minimize/maximize PCGameConsole and much more! (Equivalent PS controller buttons work the same)

Game mode feature that improves the system performance in gaming by temporarily stopping unnecessarily
services while you play the game.

PCGameConsole Settings panel

1. Cursor Speed: change the speed of moving cursor when using joystick to navigate in windows.
2. Sort By Last Played On Start: Sort the games by last played.
3. REC Button: Select what keys to trigger when VGamepad REC button is pressed, match it to your
streaming application (OBS/…) hotkeys to activate the function from VGampad!
4. Talk Button: Select what keys to trigger when VGamepad talk button is pressed, match it to your
streaming application (OBS/…) hotkeys to activate the function from VGamepad!

5. Sounds: Enable/Disable sounds made by PCGameConsole.
6. Game Mode: Enable the game mode feature which improves the system performance in gaming.
7. Play Music From: Folder to play music from.
8. Gear signs take you to the Windows specific settings.
9. Password: This is VGamepad password.
10. Update: It updates the password and restarts the services to take the changes.
