Manual On How To Terminate An Employee
Search for the staff who is required to be terminated using the name or person number and click on
search . This will populate the details as shown below.
Click on the Actions button and navigate to Personal an EmploymentWork relationship

his will open the Work Relationship screen as shown below. Click on the Actions button and select the
Terminate option.
Fill in the details in the fields as shown below. Fields marked with * is mandatory.
Notification Date : Date on which this is notified, by default it would be the date on which system is
getting updated
Revoke User Access : Choose “After termination” if staff still needs to use the application till the LWD
Recommended for Rehire : Mention if the staff who is being terminated is a potential candidate for
Rehire
If any changes needs to be done , click on back or click on Review and Submit to proceed with the
termination.
Once the details are submitted, it will go for approval. The approver can view the approval request by
navigating to the Notifications section on the Home Page. The notifications icon is on the extreme right
corner in the top of the home page.
Once clicked, it shows all notifications. The approval request is as shown below. This can be approved by
clicking on the approve button in the same page or click on the notification to view the details before
taking any action.
Once all the approvals are completed, the termination is finished and in the Person Management the
record appears with an end date as shown below. After the end date, the record will be visible as
Inactive.
REVERSE TERMINATION
In order to do the reverse termination, HRBP needs to navigate once again to the Work Relationship
Tab. Under Actions select View Termination Option.
