    Title of the Contemporary Artwork: L’amore, Dedelta’ e Crudelta

    1.For me, it is about a homeless man with his dog, asking for food or money to support their basic needs.
    I assumed that the man is homeless since he is only sitting on a simple cloth while his back is on the
    walls painted with graffiti. He may also have been drinking and smoking to cope with his misery since I
    don’t think no homeless person can be genuinely happy and he does these awful vices to be temporarily
    soothed.

    Also, the dog being chained by him is weird to me, it begs the question: “If this dog has been
    with him since then or before the tragedy of having to go homeless, then isn’t the chaining of his
    supposed “pet” unnecessary?” We label dogs as “Man’s best friend” because centuries of history have
    proved their unwavering loyalty. Heck, I even let my cat mingle with stary cats outside and it would still
    come back to me whenever she wants. Not chaining them is giving them “freedom”.

    But to the guy’s offense, maybe he is just broke enough and is doing it out of desperation to
    survive. On a negative note, the dog’s body language suggests another. Its gaze is on the opposite side of
    its supposed “guardian”, so I think the dog simply wants to stop being exploited to milk some stranger’s
    empathy and ultimately, their money, which could be considered animal cruelty.

    2. As I suggested in the first question, maybe it’s about taking advantage of the supposed “pets” of ours.
