SUPREME COURT OF INDIA, NEW DELHI – 110 001 MOBILE NO.: 9810984245

Dated: 06.08.2021
LETTER OF URGENCY
IN TERMS OF CIRCULAR DATED 24.06.2021
To,
The Registrar,
Supreme Court of India,
Tilak Marg, New Delhi – 110 001

SUBJECT: Mentioning through VC

Requesting urgent listing of W.P.(Crl.) No. 326 of 2021 in terms of Circular,

dated 24.06.2021 [Fresh matter]

Dear sir/mam,

(i) That the Petitioner herein, on 29.07.2021, e-filed the instant writ
petition seeking an appropriate writ, order or direction for a court monitored
investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation [Respondent No.4] in
respect of the complaint filed by the Respondent No. 7 (woman) against
Respondent No. 5 (Mr. Hemant Soren) and Respondent No. 6 (Mr. Suresh
Nagre) for commission of offences punishable under Sections 376, 366, 365,
354, 323, 506 read with Sections 120 B and 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and
a further direction for a court monitored investigation by the Central Bureau of
Investigation in respect of the coercion and threat suffered by the Respondent
No.7 apparently at the hands of the accused persons [Respondent No.5 and
Respondent No.6 herein].
(ii) That the instant writ petition is a highly sensitive matter as the prime
accused Mr. Hemant Soren is the sitting Chief Minister of Jharkhand and
against him serious allegations of rape have been made by the woman
complainant. Due to the coercion and threat suffered by the woman complainant
apparently at the hands of the accused persons, she is now withdrawing her
writ petition pending before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court, due which the
instant writ petition requires urgent hearing.

(iii) Therefore, it is humbly prayed that the instant W.P.(Crl.) No. 326
of 2021 may kindly be listed for hearing at the earliest date possible as per the
convenience of this Hon’ble Court.

Thanking you,
Yours faithfully
