Research Design
Identify the Research Design that will be utilized on the following research studies and explain in
2 to 3 sentences why such a design will be used.

1. Determine if there’s a significant difference on the tensile strength of different


treatments of improvised composite block and replicates of the commercially used
composite block.

Experimental Research Design will be used for this topic. The topic is determining the
effect of independent variable in to the dependent variable.

2. Determine the relationship between Socioeconomic factors and absenteeism among


high school students

Correlational research design will be used for this topic. The topic is determining the
relation of independent and dependent variable.

3. Identify the leadership styles of the principals of all public elementary schools in region
XII

Descriptive research design will be use for this topic. The topic is looking for different
leadership styles of the principals in all public elementary schools in region XII.

4. To determine the extent of relatedness between the exposure to advertising materials


and expenditure patterns of young professionals

Causal Comparative Research Design will be use for this topic. The topic is looking for
the relationship of the independent and dependent variable after an event occur for the
past generation.
5. Coping Mechanism of LGBT Community Members with the Judgmental Society
Case Study Research Design will be use for this topic. The topic is studying one person or
group and analyze to seek pattern and causes of behavior.
