2.8 Instantaneous CT disconnection lockout function

The CT disconnection discrimination is based on the following assumptions:

(1) CT disconnection does not happen at the same time;

(2) CT disconnection and failure do not occur at the same time.

If any of the following conditions is met, the CT disconnection judgment is not performed:

(1) The maximum phase current before starting is less than 0.2Ie, the CT disconnection judgment is not performed;

(2) The maximum phase current after starting is greater than 1.2Ie;

(3) The current after starting is higher than before starting;

Only after the self-produced zero-sequence components act, it enters the instantaneous CT disconnection discrimination program.

If the current meets the following conditions at the same time, it is considered that the CT is disconnected:

(1) Only one-phase or two-phase current is zero;

(2) The other two-phase or one-phase current is equal to the current before starting;

2.9 Delayed CT disconnection alarm function

The time-delay CT disconnection discrimination logic is: three-phase current, one-phase or two-phase current is less than 0.125 times the rated current, and others

If the two-phase or one-phase current is greater than 0.2 times the rated current, and if this condition is met for more than 2 seconds, a CT disconnection alarm will be issued

PT disconnection is divided into three-phase PT disconnection and single-phase or two-phase PT disconnection. The main feature of a three-phase PT disconnection is that the
