Q:1. What is Microsoft?


Ans: Microsoft is a US technology based company. It was founded by Bill Gates and Paul
Allen in 1975. Today, Microsoft is still widely known for its software, but the company also
develops hardware and provides a number of cloud services.
Microsoft Windows is the world's most popular desktop operating system and Office is the
most popular productivity suite.

Q:2. What is Microsoft office?


Ans: Microsoft Office is a suite of desktop productivity applications that is designed
specifically by Microsoft for business use. It is a product of Microsoft Corporation and was
first released in 1990
The six core programs in Microsoft Office are:

Word.
Excel.
PowerPoint.
Access.
Publisher.
OneNote.
Q:3. Why do we use page numbers in a document?
Ans:  Page numbers  facilitates to the reader to find specific parts of the document and to
know the size of the complete text.
Q: 4 What is header?
Ans: A header is the top margin of each page. Headers is useful for including material that
appear on every page of a document such as name, the title of the document, or page
numbers.
Q; 5 What is footer?
Ans: A  footer is the bottom margin of each page. Footer is useful for including material that
appear on every page of a document such as name, the title of the document, or page
numbers.

software.

What is the difference between an online and an offline connection?


In computer technology and telecommunications, online indicates a state of connectivity,
and offline indicates a disconnected state.

What is flow chart?


A flowchart is a diagram that depicts a process, system or computer algorithm. They are
widely used in multiple fields to document, study, plan, improve and communicate often
complex processes in clear, easy-to-understand diagrams.
