Name the criteria/factors to select for the best solution and explain "Ease of
Implementation" with an example from e-course
The video tends to explain the various factors or criteria to be applied in the process of
decision making, in order to ensure that the best goals and objectives of the organization are met.
One of the factors that I was able to deduce from the video is alignment. This means that the
organization should ensure that the employees are aligned with the goals with the departmental,
team, and organizational goals. I was able to learn that alignment is the act of everyone pulling in
the same direction. Every individual puts concerted efforts across the company, and this ensures
that everyone is pushing towards the same objective, thus easing the implementation process.
Moreover, I agree that I conquer with the video that timing is crucial in coming up with
the best solution to a problem that might be affecting the organization or company. It means with
timing the production part of the organization can be able to tell whether the product will be
ready in a given time. I believe proper timing is crucial to how the business makes an id decision
that can bring out the best solution to the organization.
Name the Right Decision-Making Styles and explain “Delegate Style” in details
This video is explaining various styles of decision making in an organization, and why
certain styles of decision making are made. One of the styles of decision making that the video
talks about is the authoritative style of decision making. I agree with the video that the
authoritative style of decision making is crucial when the time available is short, and the
opportunity that is presenting itself is too good to ignore. But then again, the one making the
decision has to have the required knowledge and expertise to be able to tell whether that
opportunity is worthwhile or not. He or she should also be able to tell whether the decision made
is right for the company.
Furthermore, the video talks about the consultative style of decision making. I do conquer
with the video that consultative style of decisions making a decision is important, especially
when it comes to those areas where the manager does not have expertise in. This style is
important because it involves the collection of ideas from the people in the organization who
have expertise in those areas. For example, a person in the production department is more
knowledgeable in that area than the overall manager. Additionally, Delegate Style is where the
leader decides to assign employees projects as well as giving them the freedom to work on them.
It usually happens in organizations where the leaders have trust with the employee’s capabilities.

The video talks about how planning is important when it comes to implementation of
change, and also it also important to plan for what might go wrong, and the organization should

always be on the lookout for the factors that might lead the process going wrong. When it comes
to planning for implementation, there various ways to use to ensure success; determine the
metrics, I conquer with the video that determining metrics is important in planning
implementation. This is because the metric helps in tracking assessing the status of the
implementation process. Another one is brainstorming. I agree with the video that it's also
important; it helps in assessing what can go wrong in the implementation process and doing
something to ensure that the risk is minimized earlier. Furthermore, a pilot test can be defined as
a small preliminary study which takes place so as to evaluate duration, adverse events, cost,
feasibility, before a full scales research project is initiated.

"Accountability Plan" in details
This video analysis of the support the organization requires after a successful
implementation of the solution. I agree with the video that it's important to have support to
ensure the after implementation, the company runs on a successful path. One of the support
modes talked about is setting clear expectations; the organization should ensure its expectations
are clearly set, where every person understands their role in the organization, which will help
people to be focused on the main goals of the company. This will also help in defining roles,
which will lead to the avoidance of conflicts within an organization. I believe and agree that
clear goals help in keeping employees focused, and most of the time, they make sure they do
what is required of them. Another step is Accountability plan; I agree it also crucial for support.
The accounting plan in a workplace is where employees take responsibility to complete the
duties assigned to them, performing the tasks as per the requirement of the job as well as being
present at their work stations so as to fulfill the organizational goals.
