Downloading SAP Process


Integration, business-to
business add-on
Context

You use this procedure to download the SAP Process Integration, business-to-business add-on in
your PI landscape.

Procedure
1. Download the SCA files using the Maintenance Planner  tool.
Alternatively, you can download the SCA files manually from SAP Support Portal  by navigating
to  Download Software  Support Packages & Patches  By Alphabetical Index (A-Z)  PI B2B
ADD-ON  PI B2B ADD-ON 1.0  COMPRISED SOFTWARE COMPONENT VERSIONS .

Installing and Updating the


B2B Add-On
Prerequisites

Ensure the following before proceeding with the installation or update.

 You have downloaded the required files from the SAP Support Portal. For more information
on the files you have to download, see Downloading SAP Process Integration, business-to business
add-onNoteIt is mandatory to install all the SCA files included in the B2B add-on to get support and
to ensure complete functionality of the add-on..

 You have a valid SAP User ID (S- User) license.

1. Maintenance Planner .

2. Software Logistics Toolset (SL Tools) .

Post Installation Procedure


The following post installation procedures are only for specific components of the B2B Add-On.
Procedure
1. Extract the .B2B files from PIB2BCONTENT01_0.zip file and save them on the
developer/administrator work station. This should be used for the various EDI-XML converters. You
can see the names of the available B2B files below and install them for full functionality.

Please note that this step is only for the EDI-XML Converter modules, which is a part of SAP
Process Integration, business-to-business add-on.

To import the B2B file through the maintenance tool, proceed as follows:

o Copy the PIB2BCONTENT0*_*.zip file from SAP Support Portal  by navigating


to  Download Software  Support Packages & Patches  By Alphabetical Index (A-
Z)  PI B2B ADD-ON  PI B2B ADD-ON 1.0  COMPRISED SOFTWARE
COMPONENT VERSIONS 

o • Launch the maintenance tool


via http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/resources/sap.com/converte
r~maintain~maintenance-app/Maintenance

o Choose the appropriate B2B seed file to import


o Import the B2B file by choosing the checkbox Overwrite duplicate keys

o As a result a successful import message will appear at the bottom of the screen

b. Import the Enterprise Services Repository (ESR) content for configuring the cross-system
application in the Process Integration Directory.

o Import B2BMAPPINGKIT SP XX and B2BTOOLKITSP XX contents into the ESR

o Import the archiving mapping JAR file into the ESR

Importing the archiving JAR file is mandatory for the Java Mapping to run with the Archive Module

 Archive mapping JAR is available in thePIB2BCONTENT01_0.zip file

 com.sap.aii.adapter.archiver.mapping.jar is the
Archive mapping JAR file

 com/sap/aii/archiver/mapping/ArchiverMapping is the
mapping class required to be imported in the ESR

o Import the JAR file by going to  ESR  Create Object  Mapping Objects  Imported


Archive  and choose Create. From the Imported Archive screen,
choose Forlderand from its Choose Forlder drop-down menu, search for the B2B
MAPPING KIT 1.0. Then choose the JAR file for importing.

Please note that this step is required only for the archive module, which is part of SAP Process
Integration, business-to-business add-on.

c. SAP provides XSD content only for VDA and PLAIN message types. Use XSD content as
service interface for VDA and PLAIN message versions and it must be saved in the developer or
administrator work station.
