Ee3001 Tutorial 7 To 12 Part 2

The document contains solutions to practice problems related to electromagnetic waves and plane waves. 1) The first problem determines the polarization and time-average Poynting vector for three plane waves. The polarization states are linear, circular, and elliptical, and the Poynting vectors are provided. 2) The second problem involves a plane wave traveling in seawater. The wave is determined to be circularly polarized with propagation and impedance values given. The magnetic field, power, and dissipation are calculated. 3) The third problem involves a plane wave normally incident on a lossy medium. The reflected and transmitted field expressions and power values are found.
