1. HOW IMPORTANT IS THE PROMOTION OF ARNIS IN THE PHILIPPINES ESPECIALLY IN PRIVATE AND
PUBLIC SCHOOLS?
-It is important that we promote Arnis in the Philippines, especially in private and public schools to learn
how to protect ourselves in danger.Arnis in our daily life can taught us discipline.And I believe that arnis
can develop friendship and botherhood.
-We can say that swimming is a recreational and as sport because swimming is a kind of exercise
popular as an all around developer and is particularly useful in therapy and as exercise for physically
handicapoed persons. Swimming also is also a sport because an individual or team racing sport that
requires the use of one entire body to move throug water.Competetive swimming is one of the most
popular Olympic sports it is featured in the programme of all edition of the Games since 1896.
3.WHY SWIMMING IS EFFECTIVE WEIGHT LOSS AND LOWERING HEART DISEASE, DEPRESSION AND
STRESS?
-Regular swimming,even just half an hour at a time, is known to be effective for lowering incidences of
depression and anxiety and improve sleep patterns.Swimming doesn't preferentially burn belly fat, but if
its something that you'll do consistently because you enjoy it,the it well help you drop pound or weight
including your belly.
SWIMMING
-Water Comfort
The most basic and essential swimming skill is simply becoming comfortable in the water. Although
humans are born with innate water skills, many people develop a fear of the water.
-Breath Control
Breathing is often difficult for novice swimmers. With water all around, having some water enter the
nose and mouth is a common occurrence. Some novice swimmers panic at the feeling of water in their
noses, while others have trouble holding their breath while submerged.
-Floating
Floating, or keeping your body in a horizontal position in the water, is a basic water skill.
-Kicking
Kicking provides propulsion through the water. Once you are comfortable with floating, kicking is the
logical next step. Kicking is also used in treading water, which is the process of remaining in one place
while keeping your head above the water line.
Strokes
Strokes are the arm movements used to pull the body through the water. The front crawl, sidestroke,
breast stroke, backstroke and butterfly are the five most common swimming strokes.
ARNIS
Do whatever it takes to find a good teacher. A good instructor will take you on an efficient path for
learning that will save you years of time. A good teacher will help you avoid developing bad habits
-Train Regularly
The key to progress in learning Kali is consistency. Go to class often. Practice at home frequently. Visit
your teacher on a regular basis. Several short, focused training sessions are often better than one
marathon training session every once in a while.
-Don’t rely on class time alone to develop your skills. Your time in class or with your instructor is for
starting new skills, progress checkups, fine tuning current skills, getting feedback, coaching, and training
guidance.
-In the filipino martial arts, one set of movements has many applications, so spend a lot of time training,
refining, and reviewing those movements.
-Practice your striking frequently. Mastering a skill can take a long time, but if you can practice it more
often, in a shorter period of time, you will progress faster. For example, instead of practicing once a
week, practice once a day.
