Shaolin Neijin Yi Zhi Chan Qi Gong

literally translated means the "inner strength of one-finger meditation"

of the Shaolin. This Qi Gong style has been refined over hundreds of
years since its formation in the "southern" Shaolin Temple of Fujian,
and has become one of the most recommended practices of the
Chinese Qigong community. Special features include the combination
of movement and silence, nurtured by silence and cultivated through
movement.
The inner power (nei jin) is the basis for all life activities and vitality.
A finger (yi zhi) refers to the special training method with 10 fingers and
ten toes, where the initial resp. Endpoints of the 12 major meridians of
the body are located. This finger and toe exercise method is a special
feature that is found in Shaolin Neijin Yi Zi Chan Qi Gong, it will
perform special exercises until energy transfer (Wai Qi Liao Fa).
Chan means Zen in Chinese and refers to the mental "no thought"
orientation of this standing meditation practice known as Zhan Zhuang
(Standing Pillar). The exercise methods are simple and create really
wonderful effects. Because of the Chan (Zen) nature of the method, it
is not necessary to focus attention while practicing.
Through this training and the Zhan Zhuang exercises, all energy
channels of the body are automatically opened. This allows
practitioners to accumulate external qi (energy) or universal life force
and also transmit their own qi (energy) to treat the sick. These
exercises will dramatically improve your health, which may lead to
spontaneous remissions.
Shaolin Neijin Yi Zhi Chan is composed of the exercise series:
→ The first exercise series is Re Shen Fa (body warming method) with
9 exercises. They are occasionally performed spiraldynamic, circular
and pivoting. Re Shen Fa activates the Dantian (Qi center) in the
abdomen as well as the internal organs, muscles and joints.
→ The second series of exercises is Zhan Zhuang (Standing Pillar), in
which the fingers are placed in certain positions to create the inner Jin
force. This activates the meridian system and regulates qi and blood
circulation.
→ The third exercise series is the Dong Gong (Moving Qi Gong), which
includes 8 main exercises in addition to two Qi-regulating and two final
exercises. These enable an optimal interaction of the three main
components of our energy system Jing Essence (in the sense of
components of the physical structures / of the tissue), Qi (Vital Energy)
and Shen Spirit (Mindfulness).
The Shaolin Neijin Yi Zhi Chan is taught in 4 levels in this series of
seminars, followed by 1 Qi conducting seminar and 3 Qi treatment
methods (Wai Qi Liao Fa)
