Recall your childhood days.

Write a biographical essay that compares your

early childhood with that of Rizal’s.

My name is Jamila Bomboc Sudagar, I was born on 10 th of July, 2002 in

Davao City. My parents were Razol Madel Castro Sudagar and Norayne Bomboc
Sudagar. Both of them are entrepreneur, they sell betta fishes to provide our needs
and so we can study. We are eight siblings on my father’s side and nine siblings in
my mother’s side, since my mother had her first child before she met my father. In
overall I had 7 sisters and 1 brother. I currently live in Davao now, but sometimes I go
home to City of Mati in Davao Oriental on my mother’s side.

Just like any Filipinos, I had a happy childhood, since I made a lot of
friends. Back then, every afternoon we had fun playing outside our homes after our
parents put us to bed. I still remember when we were playing bahay-bahay, and I played
the role as a daughter. I also experienced collecting plastics and steels then and sell
them to junk shops so we can buy food, and we will divide it evenly. Sometimes when
we collect plastics and steels, young bullies take our savings and run it, so we end up
crying. One of the happiest days for me back then when I was a kid was every time
Christmas was coming up. Because, aside from seeing lanterns and lights with different
colors, is that we will earn a lot of coins by singing Christmas songs.

The day led to where I needed to study, and my grandmother always took
us to school and to watch over us. At the age of five I learned how to write, and at the
age of six I know how to read because my grandmother taught us how to. So as a prize,
every sunday our grandmother and us, her grandchildren, visited downtown. We love
our grandmother since she can sacrifice all that she have, so that, we as her
grandchildren can be happy. She always takes pictures of us to put in the album, so
when we grow up we can recall the memories and the old gold days as we watch the
albums.
I was in grade six, I noticed that I became more active, I joined girls scout
and I also became a lyrist, which is why I was able to go to different parts of Davao del
Sur. I also joined volleyball and I stayed here longer. I finished my elementary school as
an honors student at Matina Aplaya Elementary School. When I was in junior high
school, I gradually got to know myself. During this time I was able to continue playing
volleyball, and made a lot of friends. I finished my junior high school in Daniel R.
Aguinaldo National High School as a honors student. And when I entered Davao
Doctors College as a senior high I chose STEM as my strand. In this chapter of my life, I
have been loner, since I lost a lot of friends, but I was able to continue playing
volleyball, since playing this sport is my hobby.

I have a lot of things to discuss about my self, but for now I think this is the end
since I continue opening the new chapter of my life.
