1.DISCUSS THE REASONS WHY COMPUTERS ARE GETTING CHEAPER


WHILE POWER IS INCREASING.
 The money isn't being spent on research & development anymore and is being spent
on just manufacturing. Couple that with the fact that technological advancements and
miniaturization will eventually occur and you can see how products get cheaper.

 Quantum improvements in technology, reducing costs of production. Since the


materials used to make computers are cheaper.

 Increased competition as more firms enters the market, driving down prices.

 The size of computers have been drastically reduced which increases the amount of
power used.

 Power is increasing because the computer requires a lot of power perform the various
multiple tasks given to it.

2. WHAT HAS LED MICROCOMPUTERS TO BE VERY POPULAR.

 Cost
In terms of price, micro computers are way cheaper. Micro computers that are
designed for common use are cheaper to an extent that everybody will be able to
afford it. However, not all the models of micro computers are inexpensive. Some
comes with higher specs that users need to spend alot of money for purchasing
them.

 Maintenance
Maintenance in all aspects of micro computer is relatively easy. Handling and
operating both hardware and software can be done with little effort. In fact many
users fix PC problems on their own without any ones assistance. If there is any
malfunctioning hardware, users can simply open the case to replace them.
 Information
A micro computer which is connected to the internet provides vast range of
information from various subjects. Students are able to expand their knowledge
from the use of micro computer. Whether it can be for the research work or general
knowledge, all the information is readily available on the internet.

 Connectivity
With the help of internet, micro computer allows users to get connected with others
all around the world. For this there are various options available from video/voice
calls, chatting applications and email. One such connectivity portal is the social
networking sites such as WhatsApp
 Portability
Micro computers are extremely portable due to their physical size. Unlike earlier
computers where they take up the whole room, a micro computer can be easily
carried from one spot to another. 

 Flexibility
A micro computer allows users to do diverse range of tasks from browsing the
web, watching movies, listening to music and playing games. Hence, it is equipped
with multi tasking facility.
