Are students of today interested to use technology in order to learn? Do teachers save the skills to use
technology to enhance their teaching? With the 4th Industrial Revolution, nobody can deny the influence of
technology in our lives. As future teachers of the 21st century, it is high time that you prepare yourselves to
integrate technology in your classrooms. Using technology is a tool and a catalyst for change. What then, in
your personal opinion are the roles of technology for teaching and learning?

Technology made our lives easier than we think. It helps us to handle our repetitive
monotonic tasks effectively with no time. To a certain extent, this is good. The students interested
to use technology in order to learn and also to make easier in terms of making assignment,
project, and quizzes. Also through the use of technology it gives information that help you to gain
knowledge like if you do a research paper so you should visit in website to get information.
Technology give also an entertainment because you watch whatever movie you want. Especially
today youth influence Korean drama or kpop. In addition, technology can help students by
making learning more engaging and collaborative. Rather than memorizing facts, students learn
by doing and through critical thinking. This could be as simple as taking an interactive quiz in
class or participating in tech-enabled group discussions.
Teacher should be literate in terms of using technology so that they can apply it in their
teaching. Especially today we are in pandemic through the use of technology is compulsory
because you meet your students through technology. Also it is very important that teacher is
capable using technology in the classroom because through the use of this it can gain the
students more knowledge and also it can give the teacher less hassle. Technology in education
enables children to adjust to their own pace of learning. Students who need extra time can spend
more time going over exercises until they understand, whilst students who need less support can
continue ahead. It also frees up the teacher to help kids who need more support on an individual
level. With countless online resources, technology can help improve teaching. Teachers can use
different apps or trusted online resources to enhance the traditional ways of teaching and to keep
students more engaged. Virtual lesson plans, grading software and online assessments can help
teachers save a lot time.
Although technology is finally being integrated into education, its use for teaching and
learning still remains a challenge. Despite the fact that many schools today are privileged to have
ready access to technology, trained teachers, and a favorable policy environment, the use of
technology in the classroom is still low. Some attribute low levels of technology use in education
to the pedagogical beliefs of teachers. Sad to say that there are some schools lack of technology
and had no signal so it gives uncertainty to those people who affected in this situation. With the
widespread availability of student databases that are able to track individual progress, teachers
are encouraged to identify learning objectives and differentiate instruction based on the needs
of their students. Teachers can design follow-up activities when using technology to evaluate
students’ learning and the role technology played in that process. Overall, technology is central
to many sectors of society and its integration into the education process has great promise for
student learning
