INTRODUCTION
On 16th October, 2021 the trainee accompanied the field supervisor of NEIDA for
visiting Chhuanthar, Baktawng village in order to have the meeting about the
project and to check the trench made by the village people. The trainee departed
from 9am and reached Baktawng at 11:12am and the trainee went back home at
4:30pm.
i. Rapport building.
The trainee and the workers depart at 9:30am and reached Baktawng at 11am. The
village members were gathered at Baktawng community hall they were around ten
members. To begin with the meeting Mr. Zoliansang from NEIDA had an
introduction and talked about the purpose of the meeting and explain Tribal
Development Project (TDF) Phase- I which is the ongoing project for the
development of the village, Piggery promotion and agriculture and horticulture.
The workers and the trainee followed some of the village key leaders in their farm
to check their construction. The trench should be 18 inches deep and 9-12 inches
wide. Basically, the trench is for installing the rain water and watershed and
aquifer as units of springwater management and holds the potential to focus on
groundwater management for the mountain regions.
After monitoring the work of the village people the agency staffs and the trainee
went back to their home at 3pm and reached their home at around 4:30pm.
EVALUATION
The trainee evaluate herself in this way, participate and exposure in the field were
so much helpful to gain professional skills in different ways like adjusting in any
kinds of environment with different behavior and personal and professional
support in order to support and making time for colleagues. By applying the theory
which they learned in their class the trainee can fulfill he plan and objectives.

INTRODUCTION
On dt 18th October, 2021 the trainee reached their agency at 10:00am. At first the
trainee build a rapport, through that they have a meaningful relationship with the
workers. The trainee assists in their works in the forenoon and having lunch with
them. After that one of the workers from the MIL department Mr. Roman Boro
explain and talked about their technology made by NEIDA.

i. Rapport building:
The trainee build a meaningful relationship with the staff member participating in
their group chat and helping in their works. The trainee and the staff were having a
good cooperation and coordination. The workers and the trainee were having a
lunch together with sharing their lunch and chatting. This create a good
relationship among the worker and the trainee and had a great time during the
fieldwork.
The trainee and her co trainee participate in the office work which was given by
the field supervisor Mr. Samuel. The trainee spend most of her time to do the work
as the work is mainly about enter the data of the beneficiaries name, village and
their phone numbers. After that the trainee did the paper work with her co trainee
the work is about writing the beneficiaries name and the profit of the income from
the work like piggery and livestock.
The trainee request one of the workers Mr. Roman Boro to spare his time for us
and he explain about the android application Agriculture and Alied Extension
Service for Aids in providing relevant information to the farmers, enables direct
contacts with experts on their issue, empowers the farmers with a direct connection
via the app.
EVALUATION
The trainee fulfill most of her objective and she observed that this agency is unique
than other agencies which we had in Mizoram. The facilities, programmes and
services are also quiet excellent and organized. The trainee learned how to interact
and communicate with the professionals and she acquires Social Work skills like
communication skills, rapport building skills, report writing skills.

INTRODUCTION
The 19th of the fieldwork was regulate on dt. 19 th October, 2021 (Tuesday) in
which the trainee had assigned with the work of the field supervisor which is
writing the report of visiting and monitoring. After having lunch with the agency
staffs the trainee helped the office works in their agency work like entering the
data of the beneficiaries profile till 4:30pm.

i. Report writing:
The agency supervisor Ms. Gospel Lalhmingmawii asked the trainee to write the
field work visit report of Saitual, Lungpher, Ruallung, Rulchawm, Keifang. The
trainee was told the report format by the field supervisor.
EVALUATION
Building a meaningful relationship help out the trainee in order to fulfill the plan
for the day by having formal conversation and helping with the office work. The
trainee develop her skills in report writing which is going to be helpful for her
future days to come. Also the trainee and the agency staffs have a good
coordination and relationship building is increasing day by day.

INTRODUCTION
On dt. 20th October, 2021 the trainee reached the agency at 9:45am. After chatting
with the agency workers the trainee help the workers in doing the office work in
the forenoon. After that the agency supervisor asked the trainee to write the case
study report and the trainee went back home at 4:30pm

The trainee helped the field supervisor in doing their work by entering the data of
the beneficiaries of some of the villages. Their names, adhaar number, phone
number and recording the beneficiaries income, their profit and recording the
materials that they received Also the trainee build a rapport by having lunch with
the workers and chatting with them while working.

Mr. Hmingthanga owns 1 acre of land planting maize during the month of January
– October 2021. He is looking forward to continue to cultivate Maize under
NEIDA.
- Monitoring and training: Mr. Hmingthanga is happy and satisfied with the
regular monitoring and training received from the organization.
- Cultivation tools and materials: Mr. Hmingthanga also mentioned the
tools and materials that have been provided during the 1 st phase plantation.
According to him farmers are provided with two tarpaulin sheets each,
Sheller, Maize seeds, 1st and 2nd installment in cash.
- Mr. Hmingthanga mentioned the professional and good relationship was one
of the motivating facilities received from the concern organization as it was
the root which helped the farmers keep going despite of many challenges
during the cultivation.
Through Contract Farming of Maize Mr. Hmingthanga’s family annual income has
increased from Rs. 100000/- to Rs 180000/-.
EVALUATION
As part of the curriculum system, the trainee successfully completed her plan for
the day. From this fieldwork the trainee get an opportunity to practice and enrich
experiences. Studying the case of the beneficiaries, the trainee came to know how
work hard the agency are and the facilities provide were also high quality and they
motivate the farmers by monitoring their work and progress. The trainee fulfill her
plan for the day.

INTRODUCTION
The trainee went for fieldwork on dt 21th October, 2021. The trainee reached the
agency at 9:50am as the workers were already reached their agency as usual. The
trainee attend the awareness programme of piggery development activities. Dr.
James Lalthansang and V. Lalnunpuii conduct the awareness programme.
i. Rapport building.
The trainee attend the training programme which is one of their services for the
beneficiaries in this programme around twenty members were presented from
Tlungvel village and the awareness were conducted in Tlungvel community hall.
Dr. James Lalthansanga had an introduction about the NEIDA their project and
their functioning. NEIDA is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2012. NEIDA
was promoted by the Tata Trusts as the nodal agency for the North East Initiative
(NEI). It has been seeded by the trusts’ to provide monitoring and technical
support to projects under North East India.
He also mentiond about Integrated Livelihood Promotion (ILP) Phase-I. The focus
component is Piggery Development (Improved Housing, Improved Feeding,
Animal Health), Stabilising Land Use (Orange and Banana).
After the lunch Mrs. V Lalnunpuii continued the programme and she talked about
the glimpse of piggery developmemt activities and she explain the Farmers
contributing their share for constructing the pigsties (contribution in terms of
labour, preparing stone aggregates and masonry works etc.) also she mentioned
distribution of Pigsty construction materials such as Cement, Sand, Bricks, GI
Sheets, Wooden blocks etc.
EVALUATION
The trainee gained knowledge about the organization their programmes and
services and she came to know that this organization is especially satisfactory for
the rural and the athlete for the northeastern people. The different types of their
projects are significant and beneficial for the people who want to develop
themselves. The trainee can fulfill most of her plan without any break up.

INTRODUCTION
On dt. 4th October, 2021 the trainee went for fieldwork and reached the agency at 9:45am. The
trainee and the agency staffs had a good relationship and according to their availability the
trainee try to fulfill her plan for the day.
The trainee had an interaction with one of the agency staff Mr. Zoliansanga. The trainee asked
some of the doubts that she had about NEIDA. After that the trainee helped the field supervisor
with their office work till 3:30pm.
i. Rapport building.
The trainee have some doubts about their programme and she request Mr. Jacob to have an
interaction from one of the concern person about the education and capacity building.
i. Education:

OBJECTIVES OF CLIx:
EVALUATION
The trainee fulfill most of her plan by interacting with the workers and she develop
her skills like observation skills, recording skills, communicating skills. The
trainee observed that this is the unique agency and the monitoring were also active
and satisfactory compare to the other government.

INTRODUCTION
On dt. 23rd October, 2021 the trainee accompanied the agency staff o have
exposure visit in Sailam village. They departed from 6:20am along with her co-
traineeand reached their destination at 8:54am. After having breakfast the had a
meeting with the village key leaders about the village solar pumping they were
having a water test in Zoluti Hall.
The trainee accompanied NEIDA staff member from water and sanitation
department Ms. Mimi and Ms Zorinpuii to have an exposure visit of Sailam
village. They reached the village at 8:54am and the village council members were
served the breakfast for them.
9:45am-11:am: After having breakfast the they had meeting with the village key
leaders in which seven members Sailam Watsan Committee were present in the
meeting and they talked about the work of the village about the solar pumping and
water and santitation.
Ms Zorinpuii had an introduction with the committee members after that they
checked the solar pumping constructed by the village people in collaboration with
PHE department and WATSAN.
After that they checked the water by one of the village people about the hardness,
acidity. The trainee and the agency staff went back home at 3:00pm.
EVALUATION
The trainee gained lots of knowledge about having interaction with the village people and
learned how to cope up with in the different situation and different environment but due to the
lack of time the trainee could not be able to have time to interact with the village council
members, apart from that the trainee could fulfill some of her plan for the day.
