Publisher.

COPYRIGHT TRANSFER AGREEMENT
Subject to acceptance of the MS for publication in the Journal:

1) The Author hereby agrees to transfer to the Publisher, all copyright of the above-
listed MS, so as the Publisher to become the sole authority of the MS. The Publisher
has the right to include the MS on its database and /or republish it on other topical/
special issues, and to grant permission to any other concerned organizations and
publications councils to reproduce the published MS without the consent of the Author.
2) The Author agrees that any reproduction, posting, transmission or other distribution
or use of the MS or any part thereof in any medium permitted hereunder requires that
the Journal be cited; including title of article, author, journal title, volume/issue.
3) The Publisher grants in return certain rights:

a. The Publisher grants back to the Author the right to photocopy,


transmit electronically, print and distribute to a colleague a copy of the
published MS for the colleague’s personal or professional use.
b. The Publisher grants back to the Author the right to republish the MS in a
book written or edited by the Author.
c. The Publisher grants back to the Author the right to use selected figures and
tables and up to 250 words of text (excluding the abstract) from the MS for
inclusion within another work edited by a third party, for presentation on
computer network.
d. The Publisher grants back to the Author the right to use the MS for classroom
use to be distributed to students free of charge, for storage in electronic
format for access by students at your Institution as part of their course work or
training.

4) The Author warrants that the MS is original. If the MS was prepared jointly, the
Author agrees to inform the co-authors of the terms of this agreement and to either
obtain their signatures to the Agreement or their written permission to sign for them.
Further, the Author warrants:

e. That the MS has not been published previously and that it is not
submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere.Also, upon submitting the MS
to KJS, the author is not allowed to send the manuscript to another journal before
reaching a final decision on its status.
f. That the Author has obtained written permission from the copyright owners to
use excerpts from copyrighted works owned by third parties, that the Author
has shown credit to the sources in the MS, and that the Author has paid any
required fees.
g. That the MS contains no libelous or unlawful statements and does not infringe
on the right or privacy of others, or contain material or instructions that might
cause harm to others.
h. The Author must reimburse the amount of money, specified by the Journal, to
the Journal if the authors withdrew their paper after the MS has been
assigned to referees.
