    1.1 Raised Pavement Markers


    General
    Raised pavement markers (RPM) also known as road studs or cat eyes are devices
    that are installed on road pavement surface to provide warning and guidance to
    drivers. RPM can be installed on a permanent or temporary basis. RPM can be
    either retroreflective raised pavement marker (RRPM) or non—retroreflective raised
    pavement marker (NRRPM).

    Colour and Spacing of RRPM


    The colour and spacing specified for RRPM in various usages as shown in Table 2
    illustrates the JKR Standard practice on the use of RRPM.
