INSTRUCTION/ DELIVERY

1.Presentation:
a. The given selection will lead to the
discussion by answering the
questions, Let the students provide
inputs and insights.
B Introduce the author and his style
of writing
c. Compare the elements of poetry to
those of fiction
1. Literary Focus and Skill Development
a. Have the students to synthesize the
three exercises for elements of fiction
to create their own version of the
story
b. Make the students realize that fiction
must be viewed as an organic whole
despite the division of elements

After all the discussions, let the students
answer the teacher-made activity.
3. Wrapping up the lesson .
Wrap up the lesson by reviewing the answers
for the essential questions,

4. Writing Exercise
Directions: Write a journal using types of
conflict that you learned. You may choose
in the following:
 Internal Conflict(Man vs. himself)
 Interpersonal Conflict (Man vs. Man)
 Conflict against society(Man vs.
Society)
 Conflict of person- against nature
(Man vs. nature)

Example would be the story of the movie Split.

Write it Down

Directions: The ABS-CBN Network announced


that there will be a competition about a movie
trailer making. As a screenplay writer in your
school,(role) you are to make a short story entry
with at least one striking scene for the said
competition and present it virtually to the
directors and producers in the ABS-CBN film
(audience).The theme of the scene will be based
on real-life situations and/or self experiences.
(situation). You are going to use this short story
for a film trailer as your entry for the movie
trailer competition. (product). The product will
be graded using the following rubric. (standard).
