Software BODAS-service 3.6.2


The latest version includes all previous updates.

Changes from version 3.6.1 to version 3.6.2


 Guided Commissioning
o The height of the containers is not fixed anymore. It depends on the content of the
step.
o Additional information is available when there is a problem with the loading of a
.bcp file.
o Simulation of Guided Commissioning in the Simulation mode (Virtual Device) is
possible.
o The step is visible even if any of the Parameter/Process data has a higher
password level than the password entered.
o The editing of the characteristic curves was improved.
 Caching Feature
o Automatic clearing of the cache before flashing is now optionally available.
 Diagnosis
o The default parameter values are displayed correctly even if the default button
was clicked multiple times.
o The export of the process data in PARPC was updated.
 Usability
o Per default the logging function is DISABLED (ENABLE = 0 in [TRACE] in the
BRCAN.ini file)
o A window of BRCAN.dll with the text "Cannot create instance of driver in […]
c002\TVCI32.dll" does not pop up anymore.
o After disconnecting of the secondary monitor when BODAS-service is open, then
only the restart of BODAS-service is needed for the further use.

Changes from version 3.5 to version 3.6.1


Following new features were introduced with 3.6.1
 Guided Commissioning
o Additional diagnostic feature giving a comfortable step based commissioning
guidance with BODAS ASrun solutions.
o A “Guided Commissioning” project is developed or adapted in BODAS-service

 Caching Feature

o Caching creates a “snap shot” of your diagnostic meta data. These data are used
in the following diagnostic session to significantly improve the connection
establishment time.
 Application specific error table extension
o Application specific error tables can be uploaded, to ease trouble shooting by
additional “tool tip” based error information.
 EPR merging tool
o Project specific EPR files can be online and offline compared and new EPR files
can be created by merging corresponding values.
 Cloud BODAS - wireless communication interface
o Cloud based communication is supported with our IoT partners: Proemion and
Tierra. An open standard for cloud based communication is established.

Changes from version 3.4.1 to version 3.5:

o Diagnosis and flashing of DI4 Display
o Diagnosis of GS-EH Inverter
 PCAN driver software 4.*.* support
 Optimization for pilot modules (CPM)
o Additional help content for parameters and error codes

 New comparison feature for multiple ECUs

 Various bug fixes and functional enhancements
