subset of positive integers. It is an
ordered set of numbers formed
according to some patterns and
rules. The pattern is based on how
each number affects the previous
number.

Ways to Display a Sequence

1. Write out the first few terms.


2. Give a formula for the general
term.
3. Give a recurrence relation.

terms of a sequence and
