this report will be giving insights and recommendations for the proper usage of PPE when
working in any workshop. While the Information highlights safety in the workshop, it’s going to
specifically target lathe safety, recommendations and guidelines on how properly inspect a
lathe before and after using it. A detailed inspection of the parts and the overall surrounding of
the lathe machine will also be carried out. Images of the lathe and its surroundings will be
evident and recommendations will be made.

2. Ensure that there are visiable marcation on the floor to separate the machines from each other.

Ensure that the handles are fitted with grips on each lever.
Replace the tool post with new bolts.
Replace the motor belt.
