1. Identify the roles of family and youth in the Peace Building.


 The roles of family and youth in the Peace Building. First, Family metaphors are frequently
usedto express a remarkable closeness or intimacy between people. Family relationships are
undoubtedlyimportant to individuals, to families themselves and to the communities.Also, youth
in society has abearing on their leadership potential and their role in peacebuilding. The
tension between young and old has been one of the key features of inter-generational shifts
pertaining to the control overpower, resources and people.
2. Make a reflection on Mindanao and Moro peace crisis.
 The peace process in Mindanao between the Philippine government and the Moro
IslamicLiberation Front was an important step towards ending four decades of conflict in the
south of thePhilippines. When, peace talks resume, the government will have to do a better
job of heading of potential spoilers, through consultation or co-optation, and delivering what it
promises.
3. Research on the history of different insurgencies and armed conflicts.
 The Philippines has sufered two major armed conflicts in recent years – in Mindanao involving the
Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and a countrywide communist insurgency with the National
Democratic Front (NDF). At the heart of the conflict in Mindanao lies deep-rooted prejudices
against a minority Muslim and indigenous population. The conflict has roots in the colonial
period, but the armed struggle for an independent state began in 1969, sparked by discrimination
and human rights violations under President Marco’s dictatorship. The conflict between the
Government of the Philippines and the communist NDF began in 1968 and since then has caused
immense unrest for the civilian population and claimed more than 40,000 lives.

1. Name five leaders you admire most and discussed his leadership philosophy

1. BARACK OBAMA
 I admire the President of the United States: Barack Obama. He is a great leader, tolerant of others and respect
all people. He believes in equality and he is always thinking of new and easy steps to improve people’s life. He
is a very calm individual and shows great passion in every decision that he makes. He always mentions in his
speech to have obligation to treat each other with dignity and respect, provide every child with decent
education.

2. Andres Bonifacio
 is one of the great leaders that I’ve found interesting because he is a shining symbol of Filipino bravery and
heroism. He was a leader of the Philippine Revolution and the president of the Tagalog Republic. Through
his work, Bonifacio helped the Philippines break free from Spanish colonial rule. His story is still
remembered in the Philippines today because he gave us the freedom that we want. He shows his bravery
among people who believe in him.

3. Mahatma Gandhi
 I respect Mahatma Gandhi for being the fountainhead for the freedom movement in India. Ialso respect
Martin Luther King for picking up non-violence as a philosophy and ackno wledging the Mahatma for his
vision.

4. Emilio Aguinaldo.The first President of the Philippines


 Filipino leader and politician who fought first against Spain and later against the United States for
the independence of the Philippines.

5. Abraham Lincoln
 Abraham Lincoln is the 16thAmerican president. The importance of establishing bonds with his electorate
was known to President Lincoln.

 As a college students and as a future educator, I would like to tutor children to help them to learn. I would
help those children who doesn`t have the chance to go to school because of their situation. The specific
students that I want to tutor are those who are disabled.
