Why do you want to be a teacher?


I guess the biggest factor why I end up teaching is because of the influence of my former
teachers and co-workers. I end up loving the job in the long run and found out that I enjoyed working
with young people. In a nutshell, teaching is a calling for me.

What school did you taught aside from herme?


I was teaching in STI College Dumaguete for three years.

What is your position on that school? If not teacher, what else would you be now?
I was an IT Instructor for College and Senior High School students. Academic Head for two
semesters. Senior High School coordinator for three semesters.

If not a teacher I will likely be working in an office or work as Virtual Assistant web developer
while traveling :D hahaha.

What challenges you in being a teacher?


Maybe working with diverse students and thinking about effective teaching strategies that will
help them understand the lesson well.

What are your achievements here in herme?


So far, in my four months stay I have attended various seminars such as Electrical Installation
and Maintenance, Film Making Workshop, Hour of Code training seminar which I was chosen as top
performer and Robotics competition in which two of our representatives were awarded as 2 nd place
during the Rugbybot.

Have you handled students in joining competitions?


Yes, Technical Drafting competition and Robotics competition.

You are a coordinator of what?


ICT Coordinator, LIS & EBEIS Coordinator, Academic Coordinator for TLE

How do you deal with your students? (Ages 11 to 18)


I tried to understand them first and see to it that aside from imparting knowledge they also have
to learn the right values and how they can deal with the problems in the real world.

Are you an understanding teacher or a tough one?


I’m a little tough but more understanding.

TLE 9 & 10 – Computer Hardware Servicing
TLE 8 - Dressmaking
