COMMENCEMENT DATE: FROM 2021-07-01 TO: 2025-12-30

1. We are pleased to advise you that your application dated 2021-08-29 for a study loan to pursue post-
secondary education has been successful. You will be offered a loan to study BSC (HONS) IN HEALTH
INFORMATION MANAGEMENT under Mainstream sponsorship a t BOTHO UNIVERSITY - GABORONE
CAMPUS, PLOT 1065 KGALE VIEW. The sponsorship will be for a period of 4 year(s) and 0 month(s).

2. Be informed however that you will graduate into a grant and/or loan depending on the category of your
programme of study in line with the current Grant/Loan classification of courses upon satisfying all
sponsorship conditions set out in the Loan Agreement. The offer is subject to your being or becoming a
registered full-time student at the above-mentioned institution

3. This sponsorship covers both tuition and maintenance costs. Should you decide to withdraw, or cease
studies, you must notify the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology, Department
of Tertiary Education Financing with immediate effect in writing.

4. The Government of Botswana reserves the right to cancel any offer that has been made or is to be made to
the applicant as it considers justified or when it discovers that incomplete or erroneous information has been
given by the applicant in the application form. Action shall be taken against those suspect of obtaining or
attempting to obtain money or scholarship by false pretenses. Any successful beneficiary/student who
withdraws from the institution for whatever reasons other than those acceptable to the Government will be
required at the discretion of Government, to refund in full or in part any payment made towards his/her
education/training. Please note that the offer is subject to your signing of the Loan Agreement, and that you
will be governed by the terms and conditions of the same.
