This job role requires someone who is capable of serving customers with a friendly and
courteous attitude. Working at the school cafe at night gave me experience in handling
customers with respect and friend. This job also requires that the student helper is capable
of maintaining an organised environment and some skill in office work. Working as a
member of TASIS World Issues Society allowed me to develop not just proactive leadership
skills, but also the ability to manage club finances/documents and negotiate (via mail, email
and telephone) with fellow students and leaders of larger charities alike. I believe that I have
the requisite skills. To be an asset to the ICMA Centre as a student helper.
