Albert Einstein was born on 14th March 1879 in Germany. Around 1886, he began his school in
Munich. As well as his violin lessons, which he had from age six to thirteen, he also had religious
education at home where he was taught Judaism. Two years later he entered the Luitpold
Gymnasium and after this his religious education was given at school. He began to study
mathematics, in particular the calculus, in 1891. In 1894 his family moved to Milan but he
remained in Munich. In 1895 Einstein failed an examination that would have allowed him to
study for a diploma as an electrical engineer at the Eidgenưssische Technische Hochschule (ETH)
in Zurich. Indeed, he succeeded with his plan graduating in 1900 as a teacher of mathematics and
physics. In 1905 he proposed the special theory of Relativity. Einstein received the Nobel Prize in
1921. He died on 18th April 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey, USA. He was cremated at Trenton,
New Jersey at 4 p.m. on 18th April 1955 (the day of his death). His ashes were scattered at an

f or TEST EVALUATION
A test is a tool used to assess students' knowledge, skills, and abilities. Instead, it is a tool for
gathering information about students. Teachers can use tests to determine how well students
understand materials and how well they are able to perform certain skills, among other things. It
means that a test is a component of assessment that can be used to evaluate students.
In schools, tests can be used as a devise or instrument to assess students' comprehension of their
lesson. Students will receive the results of their test performance at the end. Of course, as a
teacher, we should create appropriate tests for your students. They must truly comprehend the
criteria of a good test. When designing tests. It is neccessary that teachers should base on criteria
such as : the content is not outside the program, the content is spread out in the semester program,
there are many questions in one topic, depend on the characteristics of each subject, determine
the appropriate ratio between objective multiple-choice questions and essay questions.
As a teacher of English, I have designed a lot of tests. Whenever design a test, I strictly follow the
criteria above so that I can have a suitable test for my students. The first mid-term test above was
designed basing on such criteria. Firstly, It has both types of question: MCQs questions and
constructed- response qustions. Secondly, there are different parts corresponding to skills such as
listening, reading, writing. Finally, the test was designed basing on the main content of the text
book used in class so all the items tested are familiar to students of grade ten.
In conclusion, the first mid- term test above is suitable for the tenth grade studends
