1. Research on the curriculum guide for Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (ESP) from grades 1-
10. Check on the pamantayan (Standards) in the grades1-10. Does the teaching of ESP
in the grades help in eliminating the weaknesses of the Filipino character as given in
Sen. Shahani’s Report? Share your findings.
Yes, ESP Curriculum helps in eliminating weaknesses since it can help learners to
create their strengths and progress their weaknesses for the improvement of
their future to be a beneficial part of society. Also the curriculum guide of the
subject EsP aims to is to direct the students to discover the centrality of life, the
objective as a Filipino citizen to contribute to building a society that appears
genuine, opportunity, and adore. To appear this, he or she knows and applies
the (large scale aptitudes): understanding, reflection, meeting, and choice
making.

2. Research on the senior high school Curriculum. Find out if there are subjects where
the following are intentionally taught: 1. A sense of patriotism and national pride, 2. A
sense of common good, 3. A sense of integrity and accountability, 4. The values and
habits of discipline and hard work, 5. The value and habits of self-reflection and
analysis; the internalization of spiritual values and the emphasis on essence rather
than on form.
In HUMSS strand we had encounter the subject Personal Development and
Discipline and Ideals in Social Sciences which we are taught about different
values and habits as a Filipino citizen and as a student. It also allows us to realize
how important social science in every one’s life. In that subject we learn to
develop not only our personal skills and attitude but also our social interaction as
it gave us activities that relates interacting with various kind of people. The
subject also taught us the importance of patronizing our own products as it help
the country be industrial and globalized as time passes by.

3. Research on Deped orders on value education and value integration. Can these DepEd
orders disprove that the Philippine educational system is more from the substance as
claimed in Sen. Shahani’s Report?
The Department of Education has issued Department Order (DO) No. 41 Series of
2003 to ensure the effective implementation of Values Education in the Basic
Education Curriculum of the department. Based on DO 41, values education is
one of the emphases of the restructured Basic Education Curriculum. With that
order it can definitely disprove the claim that education system in Philippines is
more on form than substance because we all know that our country or our
curriculum focused more on how they can give quality education to each
students.

4. The K to 10 Curriculum Guide for Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP) and the Grade 11-
12 Curriculum Guide for Philosophy of the human person and personal development
show that there is an intensive and purposive effort of the Philippine educational
system to eliminate the weaknesses of the Filipino character that is more substance
than form. Which proofs can you give?
The Philippines Education system these days is constrained by children to
memorize a part of insignificant data and grades them on it whereas clearing out
presently the information of down-to-earth value. We were assumed to
memorize how to spell "Deceive" is fair a way to pass all your prerequisite. And
in review school but they never clarified anything about how life is within the
future? This unused sort of Virus Called Covid19 encompasses a destruction
world history. Learners educate themselves on how to deceive since no one of
them will offer assistance to each other. What would happen to any cutting edge
nation in the event that all of us we do not do something approximately how
instruction vital is.
