Alan Good morning ladies and gentlemen, the closing

ceremony will start shortly, please have a seat.
I would like to welcome/ announcing the arrival of

DR CHONG POH WAN Deputy Director of
IPGKBA, accompanied by MR NAZRI, our head of
student’s affair department, MADAM NUR
ADEELA, acting Head of English Language
Department, our esteemed guests from various
universities, IPGs and schools, our respectable
lecturers as well as our fellow friends.
Ladies and gentlemen,

Today, I, Alan and I’m Amni will be your emcees
for today. Welcome to IPGKBA’s English
Language and Literature Carnival 2019.

Before we proceed, I would like to invite all to

Amni and Alan This year’s English Language & Literature Carnival
is organized by IPGKBA’s English Language
Department and PISMP TESL JUNE 2018.
During the Carnival, we have had various fun and

entertaining activities such as storytelling, poetry
recital, public speaking, advertisement
competitions, language games and many more.
Therefore, our carnival is to promote the usage of

the English language itself at the same time build
and have a good relationship with our
neighbouring IPGs, universities and schools.
Let us now witness an opening performance by

IPGKBA students. Let’s enjoy the show.

Alan Ladies and gentlemen, every journey has its end

and every road will conclude somewhere. And for
now, we have come to the conclusion of our
destination. However, this only marks the end of
an English Language and Literature Carnival for
this year, not the knowledge and practice we as
learners and future professional teachers should
always instill, improve and enhance further.
English has always been part of our daily lives and
it will continue to do so as we communicate with
each other using it.

competitions which were held yesterday.
Firstly, the winner for the Action Song Competition

is SK Cyberjaya with their Action Songs Recycle,
Reduce, Reuse.
, the winners for Storytelling Competition school
category are SK SRI PETALING (1st), SK
CYBERJAYA (2nd) and SK BANGSAR (3rd).
