PROJECT PROPOSAL
BRIGADA ESKWELA 2021 CALL FOR DONATIONS PROJECT
8
I. Summary
As life during the coronavirus pandemic continues, the news around school reopening
has prompted many questions about how to balance a good education with the safety of students,
families, teachers, and school staff. Many teachers must purchase additional supplies to arm
themselves and their students with the things needed to learn safely, whether it be technology for
distance learning or supplies for health and safety. Furthermore, despite the situation of not using
other physical facilities of the school, it still has to be maintained, organized, and updated. Brigada
Eskwela Program focuses on collaboration and strengthening partnership engagements that
complement DepEd efforts to implement the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP)
and to ensure the delivery of quality basic education notwithstanding the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Thus, the project aims to:
Through the initiatives of the school and efforts of the teachers, they will be utilizing
their resources in gathering cash and in-kind donations from the different individuals here and
abroad. Posters and banners calling for donations will be posted in each barangay by the BE
marketing committee and with the power and influence of social media platforms. All donations
will be remitted to the monitoring committee.
II. Introduction
The COVID-19 has resulted in schools shut all across the world. Education has changed
dramatically, with the distinctive rise of modular and e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken
remotely and on digital platforms.
With the slogan “Bayanihan para sa Paaralan,” this year’s National Brigada Eskwela
focuses on the preparations and partnership activities that will support the implementation of the
Basic Education-Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) including the multiple learning delivery
modalities.
Teachers and the community must act together and learn from the past and should innovate
from the one year of dealing with the impact of pandemic.
VRCNHS, in its continuous and resourceful ways to achieve the best for its students under
any circumstance, has decided to launch a project which is a call for cash or in-kind donations that
would help the school, teachers, and the students while trying to keep safe from coronavirus.
III. Needs/Problems
In every project, we may not easily foresee its success. We also need to determine possible
conflicts in implementing it. Here are some of the feasible needs:
A. Resources may be limited.
B. There should be a designated person in each department who will take care of donations to
avoid any confusion,
C. In pursuant to Data Privacy Act 2012, a teacher must ask permission to the donor before
posting him/her in social media even for the purpose of appreciating him/her or his/her
actions.
D. Transparency and accountability in all transactions shall be observed.
IV. Goals/Objectives
At the end of this project, the school must be able to
V. Procedures/Scope of Work
This project envisions the school as a safe learning environment for the students
and school staff. A place that is secured and serve as the bridge that connects and strengthens the
involvement and collaboration of the members of the community.
Every successful project has a well-defined strategy and procedure.
Through the initiatives of the school and efforts of the teachers, they will be utilizing their resources
in gathering cash and in-kind donations from the different individuals here and abroad. Posters and
banners calling for donations will be posted in each barangay by the BE marketing committee, a
letter requesting for donations will be distributed, and with the power and influence of social media
platforms, this project will be disseminated widely. Deeds of donation and certificate of acceptance
will be issued upon transaction. All donations will be remitted to the monitoring committee.
VI. Timetable
It is the responsibility of the school to monitor the improvement of the Project. It may
work successfully if we have this organized timetable using this Gantt chart.
