TECHNOLOGY 4 ASSESSMENT 5 LOCATION: WINDOWS
DRAWN BY: CHECKED BY: DATE UPDATED:
Descriptions No. of Pieces
1. 15 x 20 x 40 CHB 980 (including wastage)
Cement (bags) Sand (cu.mtrs.)
2. Mortar “Class B” 10 BAGS 1.00 m3
3. Plaster “Class B” 15 BAGS 2.50 m3

3. Files should be saved in PDF format.

4. When done, submit your file through Canvas.

SOLUTION:

CHB:
FRONT - 7.10 x 2.70 = 19.17 No. of CHB in 1 m2 = 12.5 m2 (pcs.)
BACK - 7.10 x 2.70 = 19.17 77.76 x 12.5 = 972 pcs.
LEFT - 7.20 x 2.70 = 19.71 or = 980 pcs. (incl. wastage)
RIGHT - 7.20 x 2.70 = 19.71
77.76 m2

Mortar “Class B”: 1:3

Vol. of Mortar per CHB in m3

6 x 8 x 16 ~ 0.0008 m3
972 X 0.0008 = 0.7776 m3
CEMENT = 12 x 0.7776 = 9.33 or 10 BAGS
SAND = 1.00 x 0.7776 = 0.7776 or 1.00 m3

Plaster “Class B”: 1:3

77.76 X 2(Sides) = 155.52 m2

155.52 X 0.016 = 2.488 m3
CEMENT = 2.488 x 6 = 14.93 or 15 BAGS
SAND = 2.488 x 1 = 2.488 or 2.50 m3

Window – 1

1.511 x 0.949 = 1.444 m2

1.444 x Php 660 = 953.04 or Php 960.00
Php 960.00 x 3(Windows) = Php 2,880.00

Window – 2

1.022 x 0.949 = 0.969 m2

0.969 x Php 660 = Php 640.00
Php 640.00 x 2(Windows) = Php 1,280.00

Door – 1

2.10 x 0.90 = 1.89 m2

1.89 x Php 5,300 =Php 10,017
Php 10,017.00 x 1(Windows) = Php 10,017

Door – 2

2.10 x 0.80 = 1.68 m2

1.68 x Php 850 = Php 1,428
Php 1,428 x 2(Doors) = Php 2,856

Door – 3

2.10 x 0.80 = 1.26 m2

1.26 x Php 850 = Php 1,071
Php 1,071 x 2(Doors) = Php 2,142
